Love Animal Essential products...my dog had slightly raised ALT liver blood levels . This helped and reduced it to normal.

I got this to try to detox my lil chihuahua after he got poisoned from a flea and tick head to tail drops that were way too powerful for him.I couldn’t afford a vet visit so I treated him at home and luckily he was ok after a few days.. Animal Apawthecary Constitutional Blend is a wonderful product. Our 8 year old female cat was diagnosed with Lymphoma. She became very sick, wouldn't eat or drink, lost weight and hid in our basement. Our insightful Vet, Dr. Lynn Gulledge, placed her on Prednisolone and Leukeran (a mild chemotherapy drug that attacks the cancer cells but also attacks the immune system). She also recommended that we go to a wonderful store in our area called Pet Sage to see what alternative supplements they could recommend. Terri, the owner, and Barbara & Jennifer, her assistants, highly recommended Animals Apawthecary Constitutional Blend as a treatment to enhance our cat's compromised immune system. This along with their other recommendation, CAS Options, has worked wonders. Our cat acts as if nothing is wrong. She has gained weight, plays and jumps like a kitten and has normal bowel function. It has been more than 11 months since she was first diagnosed and after several checkups, she shows no abnormalities in her abdomen. I attribute much of her health and lack of being sick to Animals Apawthecary Constitutional Blend and CAS Options. I am so happy that they work so well because many people told me that our cat would not live more than 6 months. I highly recommend trying these supplements after you talk to your vet.

My vet had prescribed this for my dog who was diagnosed with liver cancer and not expected to be with us very long. She was retaining a lot of fluid and the diuretic's weren't doing enough. Since she has been taking the constitutional blend she doesn't have the fluid retention and her tear stains have cleared up too. Not to sound like a commercial but I do believe that this stuff has helped prolonged her life. It has been almost 6 months now since the diagnosis. I am for natural and organic remedies when plausible. She also was on a special diet (homemade foods) as well, but recently we have able to get back to taking in her regular dog food.

My Standard Smooth Dachshund, Trudy, has thyroid cancer. This product, along with several others, was recommended by a holistic veterinarian to slow the growth of the tumor. Trudy is still alive and active a year after her diagnosis.

Taste & smell is horrible. Attempting to find a way to medicate my cat, can’t add to food.

Nothing better to clean my dog’s gut and liver to help reduce his seizures. A ten day detox always does the trick!

Update 04/09/2019: The bottle of this that I bought at a local store was well-tolerated by my cat. She didn't mind it at all. With the bottle I ordered via Amazon, she hates it! She foams at the mouth and runs from me. I am wondering if there is something wrong with it or if it's a new formula. I signed-up for a subscription of this via Amazon to buy one bottle every 2 months and they could not fill the order after my first bottle. This is really making me wonder if there is something wrong with it. I will no longer give this to my cat and am contacting the company to find out what is going on. I will update this review accordingly.My senior cat had small malignant tumors surgically removed from her mammary glands one year ago. The vet didn't want to remove the entire chain due to her age - said very aggressive surgery and mammary cancer very aggressive - usually moves to lymph nodes & lungs quickly regardless of removal. I researched this and confirmed the poor prognosis regardless of surgery, chemo, etc. - usually 1 year on average. I had read about Essiac Tea & cancer. I have been giving my cat this product along with Animal Essentials Mushroom - 2x per day on average. One year later she is doing great! She still plays like a kitten! She had check-up yesterday & the vet is pleasantly surprised at how well she is doing. I use a syringe to administer it since it is easier to squirt into her mouth than using a dropper. I got a special top for syringes to put in the bottle from my pharmacy - has a little hole that the syringe fits into so you can tip the bottle upside down to fill the syringe w/o spilling. Very cheap - just plastic with a little hole in the middle. I also give my cat a Chinese herbal Artemisinin blend from my holistic vet. I think the combination of all of it has definitely helped, along with a high protein, high fat, low carb diet. Check out Artemsinin, too. It has had great success with killing cancer cells in tests on dogs and cats. People are having success, too. Last, give your pet water that has been filtered to remove the heavy metals and flouride. Refrigerator filters not enough. This water is cheap - I get 3 gallons for $1.20. When a pet's body is dealing with fighting cancer it shouldn't also have to also deal with removing lead, chlorine, flouride, etc. from it's body. I am thankful to have Animal Essentials in this fight against cancer!
