Husky 10in All Purpose Tote with Rotating Handle

I am using this to carry all of the detail “stuff” to the car wash. My car wash place has an excellent area for interior detail. I love how the handle folds down to get out of the way. Most of the ones that are more for tools like this that I looked at had a fixed handle that did not rotate down. This would also be perfect for household cleaning supplies - rather then the stupid plastic ones that are marketed for cleaning.

It comes with all necessary parts (battery, battery charger and drill bits) plus a set of three brushes, which is very nice. The controls are well placed for easy reach. good enough torque for most of home use purposes.

Spending over $50 on a tool bag isn't something I usually do. But, I figured if I do it, I should only have to buy one in my lifetime. I'm carrying tools up and down stairs inside the house, or out to the back yard, so I expect it to last a lifetime. When I got the Husky tote, it was exactly the size I figured it would be. The inside measures about 9" x 6", so it's not a full 10" on the inside. I think the other inch includes the outside pockets. But, there are a lot of pockets and pouches to put stuff in around the sides. The left and right each have three pockets, two medium and one large. The front has three pockets, two medium, one large, and the same for the back. Inside there is an elastic band inside along the back that runs the width of the bag. You can stick a lot of stuff in there so it's standing up inside. Also, there are three smaller pockets along the inside front. There's a metal hook for a tape measure on the inside front left. So there are about 16 pockets and elastics total to put stuff in, plenty of room, and the design was well thought out in that regard. Those big pockets are perfect for a level, speed square, and more. My one and only criticism of this tote is that the handle folds down, but when it's upright, it does not lock in place. This little thing gets heavy when it's filled with tools, so it would be nice to pick it up and the tote does not swing back and forth while you're walking with it. A locking handle would have made this tote absolutely perfect. But, I highly recommend it, because it's very sturdy, seems really durable, and there is a lot of room to put your stuff. If you're looking for something mid-priced, that's sturdy, and roomy, but compact, you should give this one a try. I have no regrets.
