Donco Kids Twin Low Loft Bed with Slide and Ladder, White Finish

We recently turned our daughters room into a “big girl room,” and I can honestly say that this is a beautiful bed. I put it together by myself in about an hour and a half. The instructions were clear and it wasn’t too difficult. I was weary about the slide and how sturdy it would be, but my little one has been climbing up and sliding down since I put it together and it is extremely sturdy. For the price, this bed is wonderful!

The bed is perfect. We received it the day after I bought It and put it together today. My daughter loves it. The instructions were easy to figure out but most of the pieces weren’t labeled so it was a little tedious trying to figure out which piece was what. The wood was cracked in a few areas when I took It out of the box but nothing serious that would cause any defects. Some of the wood pegs didn’t stay where they were supposed to at first either. This took about 2 1/2 hours to assemble with two people. I am So far pleasantly impressed and hopefully this lasts our family for years to come.

I am pretty happy with this bed so far. Purchased for a 5 year old. Assembly was very easy. Took a couple of hours but assembled easily with one person. Only tools you’ll need that aren’t included are a Phillips screw driver and mallet.My biggest concern was sturdiness of the slide, there are cross supports under the slide so I think it will hold up to regular use by small kids.On these types of bed I have seen a lot of people disappointed with the height, I wasn’t surprised by how low the bed is but be warned an adult can barely sit underneath, it’s great size for a 5 year old.The finish is pretty fragile, I did make some scratches during assembly. Not a huge deal but has me interested in how it will hold up to use by a kid.I did not get the tent part for underneath. We may in the future, I think my daughter is enjoying it without the need for the tent.Before purchasing from Amazon I had seen this bed (or very similar) being sold by Ashley furniture. When I got ready to order it was no longer available from Ashley so I ordered from Amazon and it was $100+ cheaper for what appears to be the same bed.

My daughter loved her new bed! It comes in two separate boxes & they were at least 50lbs each. I assembled it myself, but it would haven’t taken less time if I had someone helping. The only part that I was not a fan of was that only 2 or 3 pieces were labeled. However I took a sharpie and used the instructions to label them as they had them labeled in the instructions. Overall, very sturdy and easy to assemble.

Sturdy, instruction is easy to follow. Assembly is easy.Some wood cracked during tightening.

The pieces were not numbered. This almost caused my sister and I to unfamily each other. Don’t bother with screwing the slats down, the wood hates the screws. The wood also hates being put together. Split in several places. Just told the kid no gymnastics. The slide is awesome, I’ve used it several times.

I can’t believe this bed was so cheap. It’s very strong, beautiful and my daughter loves the slide!Setup? It will take you like 2 hours. But it’s totally worth it!

I've got a shaved knuckle right now from building this bed last weekend. I lost a good inch of skin trying to screw in these bolts with the ridiculously small hex tool. I finally broke out my personal hex tool and things progressed at double time. The bed is amazing, my daughter loves it, it's perfect and should last her years.
