Diecast Masters 1/50 Western Star 4900 SF Day Cab Tridem Tractor 71066

We take them for granted when we see them on the highway, passing them and provoking the driver to blow their air horn. I love them in real life and now, reduced and sitting on my table. The details and features capture my imagination and enable me to relive my childhood - somewhat. Get one and wake up your sleeping child.

Diecast Masters have produced a very nice model (for the money). The first one I received had a twisted frame; but it was replaced with no difficulty. The model itself is quite good, but not of the upper echelon in the world of collectors replicas. There are minor flaws in the paint, and some of the scaling is not quite right... Note that the grill is not accurate to the real truck... close, but not on the money. I would give this Western Star model four stars were it not for the good value for the level of detail. Decent model; I wish that they would charge 15% more and hit it out of the park!

While this truck is a very nice piece, please note before purchasing a combination that this truck ONLY works with the [flippable] neck flipped on the 1/50 XL 120 lowboy trailer. It WILL NOT WORK with the optional jeep, as the neck on the jeep is too short.

Truck did not have the stock extensions like was promised other than that I have to buy a trailer that'll fit it because I bought it for the low bed with the extension or the Jeep and would not fit it because the frame Was too long the Jeep on the Lowbed trailer was too short

Could not judge size.. not worth the money
