Easy to install. Quiet and works great.

I was pleasantly surprised that the Broan-Nu tone 696 fan and light was the exact replacement for my existing unit in my bathroom. I was able to literally take down the old one that was 25 years old, and put in the new unit - in a matter of minutes. Great Quality and runs quietly again!

Huge and heavy, could have been made smaller

Perfect replacement fan and light. What was ordered was shipped as advertised. What else can be said about a bathroom light and fan? It sucks well and lights up your life. Easy to install after all of the difficult vent hardware is installed and hole is cut. Not silent nor too loud, sucks very well for the price. One cool option is the unit will suck in the dark, nice option.

I got this to replace the fan in my 23-year-old, 70 CFM, Broan light/heater/fan combo. The fan was dying and I figured I could just switch the fans out, and update the grill portion. This model didn't have the heater, but moved a lot more air than the old one. When it arrived and I began comparing, the new fan would not fit in the old enclosure because it used a higher volume (thus taller) squirrel cage fan blade assembly.I ended up replacing the whole enclosure, which required a trip to the hot attic and some serious manipulation due to my trusses. One good note is that the new enclosure had the mount points for the heater already in place. I just had to move the electrical plugin from the old enclosure to the new, and my heater dropped right in. I was also able to use the old duct adapter without disconnecting the duct; it snapped right on to the enclosure.Overall, I'm pleased with it. You'll need some good mechanical skills to change it out. I consider myself a fairly skilled DIYer, and it took a couple hours to change it all out. It's not as easy as they portray it. Soundwise, it's a little louder than the old one, but it's moving more air, so that was almost expected.

Used this to replace the fan and outer plastic cover that had yellowed. All the parts fit in the old unit perfectly (same code #). This was cheaper than buying the fan and cover directly from the maker.

This was an exact replacement for my 20+ year old Broan model 655 exhaust fan + heater combo, sans heater. Form factor is EXACTLY the same (mounting, wiring, ducting), so this was a very straightforward installation.Fan is MUCH quieter and works well. Light housing is a bit small, so you may need a more compact (read: thinner) bulb, but it all works.I also had to shave the plastic grill down a bit to get it to sit flush with the ceiling, but 5 minutes with a dremel took care of that. Not a big deal.If you have an old Broan exhaust fan, this is the way to go.

The light is bright and the fan is powerful.

It's really good, only needs a bigger space for bulb.

Very good ventilation and the extra lighting in the bathroom is a bonus.
