How much xanthan gum should be added if using entire bag?

Honestly, I have never added any. I just used it measure for measure in recipes for muffins for guest breakfasts. Your question made me look at the bag and it recommends for cookies: 1/4 teaspoon per cup of flour; cakes: 1/2 teaspoon per cup of flour; muffins or quick breads: 3/4 teaspoon per cup of four; breads: 1 to 1/2 teaspoons per cup of flour; pizza crust: 2 teaspoons per cup of flour. That said, it says a serving size is 1/4 cup and says about 36 servings per container (I take that to mean package). I divided 36 by 4 (1 cup) = 9, so my guess would be 9 to 10 teaspoons per bag. That is just a mathematical guess.

Can I buy bulk pea protein?

Unfortunately Bob’s Red Mill only recommends this product for pie crust, pizza crust and pasta.
