Outstanding!
This book goes far beyond diet to cover all aspects of life. I'm slowly absorbing each chapter and I find quite a lot to consider. I am putting his plan in action for my own health and wellbeing.

We need to learn, unlearn and RELEARN
I highly recommend this book. Learning to unlearn bad eating habits allowed me to transition into a healthier lifestyle- This book is excellent for the newbie to health and wellness as well as the seasoned health nut who needs to update old information and relearn ways to stay healthy and happy. It is all about taking care of the total person-- we are multifaceted individuals who need to remember to heal the WHOLE body to be truly healthy. Informative but opinion-based and manipulative, 100% asian inspired recipes
Very insightful and thought provoking. This was my first read when I started researching plant based and it led to reading Starch Solution, Plantfully Lean, The China Study, Forks over Knives, etc. and all are well researched and present their stance well. I only give this 3 stars because he takes the Bible out of context by skipping the second half of many quoted passages and verses to convince readers that Jesus was a vegan. It's unnecessary if the research is as sound as he tried to convey in the book, but his bias and manipulation of multiple religions to say veganism is what God intends for humans (not as opinion but as a guilt-inducing fact according to him) makes the rest of his broader claims (and research) questionable as well. We have all likely read multiple books that present convincing research on the health benefits of the completely opposite diet too, so it really comes down to personal experimentation and finding what works best for your biology. If the book were presented as such, I would have appreciated it a lot more. I didn't find Forks over Knives or the China Study to be as biased but rather much more informative. FINALLY, the recipes are 100% asian inspired, which is great sometimes but not as an exclusive menu, so the recipes were really limited in usefulness for me. Plantfully Lean has a wide range of excellent recipes with tons of influences for variety of flavors and has been a great resource for learning how to eat plant based oil free.
