My daughter is obsessed with this book! If your kid loves my little pony, they will love this book.

I may be late but I’ve been a Brony (which is actually what they call young adult MEN including me AND middle-aged MEN fans of the My Little Pony franchise just like me) since July 2017 (something I should’ve done a long time ago but then of course, I eventually caught up and eventually saw EVERYTHING) and I absolutely LOVE THIS 5-Minute Stories book (I also still have the FULL 2017 movie ON Blu-Ray, the 2017 movie original motion picture soundtrack ON CD, the TV show called Friendship Is Magic Seasons 1-7 ALL ON DVD to this day, I even have ALL 5/FIVE of the human version 👫 Equestria Girls movies ALL ON DVD, too PLUS I EVEN got my pre-ordered copy of Friendship Is Magic Season 7/Seven EVEN ON DVD from Amazon the day it came out five months ago as well)! Especially the beautiful great artwork on the front AND my all-time favorite pony characters (for example: Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie)! IF you’re a Brony just like me, then this 5-Minute Stories book, the 2017 movie, the human version 👫 called Equestria Girls AND EVEN the TV show Friendship Is Magic Seasons 1-8 are ALL probably for you (I said “probably”)! #Brony #Bronies 😄👍🦄😃👍🦄😄👍🦄👍😃👍🦄😄👍🦄😃👍🦄

Our daughter is a little (or a lot) obsessed with My Little Pony and, next to Dash, Pinkie Pie is her favorite. When this came out, I had to buy it for her. The book is written as a bit of a history book (if you will) from Pinkie Pie to Flurry Heart, and it's even illustrated as though it's a handmade scrapbook. (It's actually quite cute.) The stories and interjections from Pinkie Pie give the history of the biggest events in Equestria prior to Flurry Heart's birth. My daughter loves having this book read to her, and the stories are short enough that we read 3 each night before bed. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone with a MLP fan in their house.

I was very impressed with this! Typically cartoon tie-in books just reuse images from the show with some basic text to explain the story. They look and feel like they were done by an intern over a lunch hour. The My Little Pony Phonics books were particularly egregious. But this book adds an overarching story of Pinkie Pie telling the stories while she babysits. The stories are told in her distinctive enthusiastic voice and it has new art that looks like fabric puppets and items. It is a well-done handsome book and fun to read. The text uses different fonts and colors to capture Pinkie's over the top style with words like BEST PARTY EVER popping out in bold and color. The only challenge is convincing our girls to close the book and go to bed!

My 4 yo daughter is a huge fan of the 5 minute story books.She has a disney one,a bluey one,a disney princess one and now this mlp one.This is a huge hit at bedtime. 10/10 perfect for a mlp fan.

My 7 year old liked the stories, but interestingly we only read through the book once. When she really likes something, she'll ask for it over and over again, as all kids do :-) I think the stories are slightly more complex than what we expected, and not as cute as I would have thought. This may be the reason it didn't become a favorite read.

My granddaughter loves this book so much that she asks me to read it every time she comes for a sleep over and she gets through almost 2 stories and she falls asleep, I use different voices for the characters so if she's not sleepy it takes 3 of the stories as well as my describing the pictures and shaking the book to add "scary or spooky" kind of vibe and she loves it, I would highly recommend this book for children over 4yrs old (3 if you leave out the "book shaking, scary and spooky" part.🙂

My daughter is 3.5 years old and she loves My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. This book is absolutely perfect for setting the bedtime pace. The stories are condensed versions of some of the MLP stories she already knows. I think it is cute how the book is setup to look like a scrapbook made by Pinkie Pie. Many of the pictures look like felt and if you look closely you can see other craft items that Pinkie Pie used throughout. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who has a younger child who is already familiar with and loves MLP. (Note: there is one typo that drives me crazy, but I can overlook it.)

As a parent and someone deeply aware of how stories shape young minds, I appreciate the imaginative world of My Little Pony and the positive messages around friendship and courage. However, my six-year-old recently raised a concern and it deserves serious reflection He noticed that the only “bad” pony was black and had what he described as an “African-sounding” name—King Sombra. He pointed out that the good ponies were mostly pink or brightly colored and asked, “Why does the bad pony look like he’s from Africa and the good ones look white?” At just six, he was able to pick up on something many adults overlook: the troubling pattern of associating dark colours with evil and light or pastel colours with goodness. This isn’t just about ponies — it’s about the messages we pass down to our children, intentionally or not. The lack of diverse and positively represented characters of colour, even in animated form, is a missed opportunity. I urge publishers and creators to reflect more deeply on the implications of character design and naming. Representation matters, and it should not reinforce old stereotypes or unconscious bias. Future editions would benefit greatly from more thoughtful diversity in both heroes and villains — across a broader spectrum of colour, culture, and character traits. Children are watching, listening, and learning. Let’s do better for them.

Great book. Love the pictures and the stories. Got it for 5 yr old and 7 yr old - both ages love it

シーズン2以降のお話です。 プリンスシャイニングアーマーとプリンスケイデンスの結婚後 本当に子供が5分で読めるような文章量 ところどころ強調の意味で頭文字以外も大文字表記があるので、子供は読みにくいと感じたみたいですが、全体的にはとても喜んでいます。

El libro no le gusto mucho a mi hija, los dibujos dentro del libro no están lindos, las historias tampoco son de lo mejor. Tenemos más libros de historias de 5 minutos, y este ha sido el peor de todos.
