White Musk by Jovan for Men - 3 Ounce EDC Spray

I used the Jovan Musk in the past and liked it. I was going to get some more when I noticed this Jovan White Musk and decided to give it a try. It is not a heavy scent like some musk can be. It is more prominent when first sprayed on but mellows quickly so it is not too heavy for daytime at all. Just a pleasant mellow fragrance.

Imagine yourself wearing light colored button-downed but casual clothes and you were freshly out of the shower. This is the type of scent to spray in that presentation or situation. It is a light, somewhat floral, somewhat fruity musk that somehow doesn't come off as feminine. If anything, it's unisex but a guy can definitely pull it off.

Wife likes smell of this one better than black musk. Not as strong

I love Jovan colognes. It smells great, doesn't over power and the price point is good.

Jovan White Musk proves a nice scent can be made and sold at a low price. We all know there are tons of nice scents if you're willing to pay $50 and up, so it is nice to find a scent that is pleasing (women particularly seem to like it), lasts a good part of the day, and proves to be a stone value. It's a sweet citrus based smell that I'd definitely say qualifies as a unisex fragrance. It reminds me of a smoother, less abrupt/masculine, version of 4711 Original Eau de Cologne by Maurer & Wirtz. I think the White Musk is lighter and 4711 is a bit more abrupt and darker overall - so while both are citrus they are not too much alike. Even with the White Musk being sweeter and sunnier, i.e., not as heavy, in it's disposition (scents have dispositions?) it lasts longer on both my clothes and skin than 4711. This is a true "inexpensive" world class fragrance in my humble opinion. Add that it works equally well for a man or woman which means it is more universal and not polarizing. I've got some Jo Malone cologne right now that's unisex and is wonderful...that is until it's time to buy again at north of $100 a bottle. That is where this White Musk's value snaps into total focus. A screaming bargain it is!.

Durable, long lasting, tough, good price, smells great

It's a good fragrance, smells really good but I have yet to truly enjoy it. It sits very close to skin and doesn't last very long. Over spraying also doesn't help much but it's so cheap that it doesn't matter much. I have yet to find something that it layers well with either so beware it's not very strong but it's a solid scent for daily wear

last a good couple of hours on the skin, but on clothes last all day.

This cologne is amazing. It has a great flowery, powdery fragrance. Smells fresh and is great for everyday use. The best part is that it's very subtle and smells sophisticated at such an affordable price
