Loses charge after a few uses and will not charge up again
This is a lovely little light and I am very happy with it. Please bear in mind that there is a lock feature which can make it appear that the light is not charging properly. If this happens, you need to press and hold the on/off LED for about 5 seconds before using the light. It will flash from red to green, and then you can use it normally.

Great quality bike light
I bought this light to accompany a much older LED light as 1 light was not sufficient to light my way down dark country lanes. This Olight is a decent quality light and really does give a nice beam so I can see where I am going! The only disappointment to me was the battery life. Maybe I was expecting too much, but after little more than 2*20 minute journeys, I got the red flashing warning symbol, where as my old light could go for several days before needing a recharge. Admittedly the old light is nowhere near as powerful so that is to be expected, but I was quite surprised. The only other thing was the fitting instructions which I thought were quite poor. What I did not appreciate is that there were different attachments for other bike frames etc, but I worked out what to do in the end. For the money though, it is a very good light!

Bright but short battery life
Although this is a strew and bright light the battery life is not long enough for long commutes and if like me you own a road bike then none of the four straps will work as even the smallest one is too big. That said for the price it's a good light.

Do not buy, it stopped working after 5 months.
I bought this light in September 2025, we are at January 2026 and it stopped working. So not even 6 months of lifespan. I turned it on one day and the battery seemed to drained, even trying to charge it multiple times it will not charge. Do not buy, unless you want to pay for something that last less than 6 months. Attaching images that shows: 1. Green light as battery was fully charged. 2. I disconnect from charging and light goes red and off intermittently. 3. Light doesn’t turn on or charges.

A good addition for safety
I'm a bit of an OLight fan. I decided that I need something to make me more visible to cars when cycling on the road. I use the flashing mode during the day just to make it easy for cars to spot me under bridges and in shade. Fitting was easy and so it operation, but read the instructions carefully. There's only one button, so it does everything. I haven't used it at night, but the light has 3 brightness levels so should proivide a fair degree of illumination.

Nice design, but terrible battery life
I’ve had this light for a few months now and used it on a few bike rides. The light, looks and feels like a quality product. HOWEVER, the battery life is terrible - even in low power flash mode, I am getting less than 60min of use. Quite often the light losses power before I get home - you could say not fit for purpose. If it is just for short commutes, probably fine - for longer rides, get a different light.

Great light for road/offroad riding
I bought this as a compact light for my helmet - comes with a bar mount, but I use fitted to a GoPro mount on my helmet. People seem to feel they need massively bright lights for offroad riding these days, but having started night riding in the pre-LED early 90s, even this little unit is a huge step up from the lights I started with, and it doesn't weigh much on the helmet.

A beautiful product.
This light comes in a neat white box with a magnetic strip on one side. It immediately feels like a quality piece of equipment and it is obvious that the manufacturer has made a lot of effort in creating the packaging. The unboxing experience is lovely; the side opening flap has a nice solid feel to it and when opened it reveals a small yellow ‘info panel’ which provides instructions on how to operate the device and is a removable cover which protects the device. The light itself has a solid, robust feeling. It has a profiled clear cover to protect the LED and this is fitted precisely on the end. A wide button with a firm click operates the light and a series of clicks ‘unlocks/ locks’ the button. There are several brightness settings which range from low to high intensity. The clip band fits neatly around the handlebars and is fitted with a quick release ‘twist’ action to fix the light onto the band. In summary I am very happy with this product, it looks and feels good.
