Question 1

Please let me know if this product laboratory tested for safety: levels of lead, mercury, and arsenic; E. coli, among others and contains how many % of fulvic acid. Thanks

Accepted Answer

Shane thank you very much for your help!Dear Johann, thank you for your email (unfortunately I never received replay from you to my message with same question through e-bay messages). However I will really appreciate if you kindly attach updated laboratory test for safety (Amazon listing/eBay). Regarding % Fulvic acid with all due my respect I felt very disappointed from your answer. Johann as you knows the primary active ingredients in Shilajit are Fulvic Acids, Dibenzo Alpha Pyrones, Humins, Humic Acids and trace minerals. These are produced by microbial action on humus (think of Humus as a nutrient rich soil, like compost). Fulvic Acids are small lattice shaped molecules that act as carriers for the Dibenzo Alpha Pyrones and trace minerals.Approximately 40% of the raw material remains after extraction. Proper extraction is very important to guarantee a consistent high level of active ingredients, remove inactive substances, check for the proper PH, and remove harmful free radicals and mycotoxin producing fungi and fungal toxins. Good quality Shilajit is then standardized to guarantee consistent levels of the active ingredients. 1. This is the only process, which brings out the most active components of Shilajit i.e., dibenzo-alpha-pyrones (DBP) to therapeutic amounts. The raw Shilajit contains 0.01% w/w, which is enriched to 1% w/w DBP in processed Shilajit.2. The process would selectively bring out fulvic acids, which are the beneficial components of Shilajit humus. Furthermore, the content of fulvic acid (Not less than 20%) would be maintained from batch to batch which will be equiactive biologically. Fulvic acids occurs with microporic voids (200 - 500 microns.) and act as "carrier molecules" to small molecular weight substances like DBP.3. The processing would remove the high molecular weight, Humins, which cannot be utilized by our body.4. The extraction process would remove polymeric semiquinone free radicals from the Shilajit humus. Free radicals are responsible for causing damage at cellular and molecular levels.5. The extraction process would also ensure the removal of mycotoxins and mycotoxin producing fungi and assure safety to the recipients ingesting Shilajit.6. Standardization of Shilajit to 20% fulvic acids and 1% DBP would ensure a consistent nootropic activity, enhanced immunomodulation and very effective antioxidant activity, the three attributes responsible for slowing the aging process.Johann you advertised your product as a Pure and Most Potent Form and then you stated that a fulvic acid (most active/important component) in your product is incredibly difficult to test for? :)Thank you very much Warmest Regards

Question 2

Did anyone noticed increased in muscle mass or weight by using this product? I am a underweight young guy. Does this shilajit increase testosterone??

Accepted Answer

Dear Kale, we are not allowed to make medical claims but there is a wealth of information on the traditional uses of shilajit online. Some are over hyped claims and others are genuine user experiences. There is a website about boosting your low testosterone that reviews shilajit for that purpose but we are not allowed to give out urls.

Question 3

does it comes with an expiry date. i bought one almost a year ago and never used. i don't have stickers anymore.

Accepted Answer

Mine had an expiration date written on the back label. It was literally written with what looked like a fine point magic marker. It was dated for at least three or years out. If you wanted to keep it for longer than that I would imagine it would be better to keep it in glass, but honestly I don't think true shilajit expires. After all, it is already centuries if not thousands of years old itself, right?

Question 4

How does this compare to Superman Herbs pure shilajit pitch, to those who have tried both?

Accepted Answer

I have tried the Superman Herbs shilajit. IT IS AWFUL. If you ask them they may admit that it in fact is sourced from the Gorkha Exim Pvt. Ltd. Co. That's how they can offer it so cheap. It even smells toxic. I DO NOT recommend it. Authentic is the best there is that I've tried.
