Worth the higher-end price tag
This mister fan is heavy duty and has been running 8 hours a day in our outdoor dining area at my restaurant. The mist tank is large enough to last all day on one fill, and the mist itself shoots out about 15 feet at it's maximum flow even while the fan is on a lower setting. All in all it's solidly constructed with strong parts and works great. I was a little hesitant about the price, but after owning this unit for a few months now and seeing the guests (especially the kids) enjoying it, I'm considering buying a second one.

Works as advertised
Well thought out and constructed well for the most part and it actually works, unlike another cheaper brand I purchased. I will say it probably has even more effect in other hot dry climates out west than it does in hot and humid Florida. Thinking about it, actually adding humidity! Satisfied with purchase.

Fair, but not great 3 1/2 stars
POSITIVES: It arrived in perfect condition and when assembled everything seemed to work as it should. NEGATIVE: I gave it only 3 stars because I do not feel it lives up to the hype, especially for what it cost. It does make a lot of mist near the fan itself, but it does not do a great job getting that mist spread out. It works great for one person sitting in direct line of the fan blast. It does not cover 25 feet. I use it under a pergola I set up in a 10'X10' square. It does not even cover that, let alone 25'. I have tried it several times at all speeds and all mist settings, and both oscillating and steady. Another negative is that you have to constantly screw and unscrew to change between oscillation and steady use. And over the past few days it is clear that you cannot just choose one that will always work best. The oscillation is too wide to be effective in my setup. It should be adjustable so it does not just waste water off to the side. And the longer time it takes while you wait for the fan to swing back to where it hits you seems interminable. The result is feeling hot, then cool, then hot, then cool, etc. I got this fan because I thought it would easily cool 10 feet if it was designed for 25. Also because I wanted a simpler solution than installing a traditional drip mist system. I have decided to keep it, but only because it is 'better than nothing' and I still don't have time to set up a traditional system. Even had I bought at the $100 cheaper price it dropped to right after I ordered mine, my comments would be the same. Overall the engineering/design needs more work.

Broken (used?) motor UNSCRUPULOUS SELLER
I had my hopes but they were spit out like a fine mist from a fan with no motor. After taking great care to assemble according to the instruction sheet which was literally printed in reverse, I flipped the fan on. The blades moved about half an inch. I double-checked the outlet, it was not tripping. The mister worked fine, but without the fan, it just makes a puddle. Time and energy wasted. I'm sure some buyers got a unit in good condition, but I was sent a lemon. Will take a while to disassemble and a heavy pain in the butt to get shipped back to Amazon. Update: messages to the Seller were replied to but just asked if I had read the instructions. Summer is winding down and I am not a happy customer. Next UPDATE: Seller promised to send another motor, but none received. When I called for his (FedEx, he claimed) tracking number he never replied. Website number now not working. Also their website does not post negative reviews.

Great product
The mister was delivered in black and I ordered white. I kept it because black looked exceptable as well. Assembly was not hard but trying to figure out what hoses connected where was a little of a problem at times. It helped to get on-line and watch the assembly video. Sometimes it was hard to understand as well. The fan works great but I do wish the oscillating part moved more smoothly. It seems to have a momentary catch when it is oscillating both from the right and from the left. The fan has been a life saver from the heat when I am laying in the sun on the deck. It does keep you cooler. Another draw back is emptying the tub each time when you are done sunning. The manufacturer should have included a valve on the side of the tub to drain the water out. As it is, you have to lift the tub off the carrier and tip the tub over to get the water out. This dislodges some of the hoses that are in the tub and creates more steps to put them back that should not have to happen. I am thinking seriously about installing my own drain valve. Only time will tell how long the mister will continue to work fine. My experience having owned a pool for 22 years is that anything involving water is a constant problem. Only time will tell.

Misting fan
The fan arrived very well packed. The installation was difficult, since there was a very limited instructions with it. It’s working perfectly. I placed it in my green house. The only problem is that you have to watch the water level especially in very hot days

Not worth the money; missing parts; bad customer service
It works ok, but I don’t think it’s worth the price point. It was an absolute pain in the ass to put together. You have to instructions in the box and watch the YouTube video that they give QR code for. Even so the video does a poor job. My order was 100% missing a tube needed to connect the mister to the water supply. Fortunately I had another mister system on hand with an extra tube that worked. Customer service connected me right away, but I must say that the person I talked to, Dave, was one rudest people I’ve ever talked to. Really obnoxious! Hate to call someone sexist based on a brief phone call but the way he talked to me was absolutely awful. He lectured me about not answering the phone (sorry I don’t answer random numbers while on work calls…) and kept loudly sighing. Honestly it was really just the tone. My fan was 100% missing a part! Once I fixed the missing tube, which Dave was so incredulous about!, I couldn’t figure out what was wrong and it was simply that the power cord for water pump wasn’t securely plugged in. Now that it is working. It’s pretty mediocre. I do not recommend. Get a regular high powered fan and put a mister plate on it instead. Not worth the price point or the hassle.
