The vacuum is more effective than any other hand vacuum I've used but the belt heats up to breaking point after 10 minutes of continuous use. I Am glad they sent 2 because I Am now modifying the second belt to include wire threading like a vehicle tire to withstand over ten minutes of use under normal conditions.Revision;The failure was user error. MY ERROR. The belt's are good if used within appropriate guidelines.

It was the proper size for our small hand vac. The installation challenge is not a result of the band, but rather the design of the vacuum cleaner. I assume it is working as it was intended.

I don’t know if it was our Dirt Devil or the belts, but they both broke immediately after putting them on. One made it through 1 stair, the other not even that far. We’d replaced them before with Dirt Devil brand and didn’t have a problem. Ended up buying a new Dirt Devil.

Now with two belts I am set for the next 10 years!

Just what I needed

The original belt that came with my Dirt Devil broke after about 5-10 minutes of use! So far I've used my Dirt Devil with one of these belts for over 30 total minutes already!

Belt is loose, way bigger in dia than model m08100 need.
