Wand came in a the exact same packing as the photo. The colour of the wand is more of a brown colour (darker) than the gold like colour shown in the picture. Materials doesn't seem to be metal as it is not too heavy but still made out of a sturdy material which will last. Happy with the product considering the price paid which is a fraction of the original licensed product. My daughter is very happy with it. Can't complain.
