10-Minute Time Crunch Training DVD Includes 5 Workouts

Weight Watchers Time crunch workouts
I just joined Weight Watchers (about 1 week ago) to help treat my pre-diabetic condition... I am always busy and mostly tell myself I don't have "time" to work out... this dvd seemed like a good fit. There are several 10 minute options... with additional 5 minute warm up and 5 minute cool down, so it's actually 20 minutes - so kinda NOT 10 minutes - but what the heck.. I wish they repeated movements a little more often... but mostly it's about continuing to move so... if you're a perfectionist that isn't too coordinated and slightly old (me, 57 years old) it can be a tiny bit frustrating. But I tell myself it's about moving period. "Perfect" form is NOT required. I purchased the "Tribe" resistance band set to go with this DVD as it doesn't come with them and they work perfectly with this DVD. So... while I was a little frustrated at the speed and complexity of some movements, over all I think it does the job. I never hesitate update my review should new info seem useful.

No Excuses
First, I only started to try to get healthy after I turned 60. I've lost 50+ pounds, and I've done some type of activity every day for over 4 years now, alternating walking with some sort of strength training. I did want some variety, so I got these at my WW meeting, and I love the cords and the DVD. There's a 5-minute warm up and a 5-minute cool down, and 5 choices of 10-minute workouts, covering various body muscle groups. I love the 10-minute increments; you can do anything for 10 minutes. The instructions are clear, and you can follow the beginner, intermediate, or advanced people; I mix it up between beginner and intermediate during each of the segments with no problem. Most of the time I do the warm-up, 2 of the 10-minute segments, then the cool-down, for 30 minutes of good activity; I count it as 2 WW activity points.

I love this work out
I love this work out! I have a variety of work out DVDs like The Firm, P90x and other 10 minute increment work outs but this one has become my favorite. The cords combined with the moves provide a great challenge however it's not so extreme that it makes you not want to work out. I feel challenged but not strained after these work outs and they're fun to do. Definitely recommend ππΎππΎ
