I usually use a nationally known brand of pod coffee maker. The problem is they usually don't last. This time after 2 other tries, I found the one that is easy to use. Easy to clean. Makes great coffee. I can use a pod or ground coffee. I'm a happy camper! My first recent try I had to return because it didn't have the ability to use ground coffee. Plus it was so small that a big coffee cup wouldn't fit. The second try was a complete failure. Steam poured while brewing. A little plastic piece that fit in the top part kept falling out. This one was too tall and the coffee splashed out everywhere. Like they say, "The third time is a charm!" Great thing about Amazon, the returns are easy but I still try hard to get the right thing the first time.

I was hoping I would be lucky but, I am not. There is a crack where the water goes and it leaked massively trying to fill it. Down to the bottom and it holds water down there. It's a nice look but not worth the rating if it can leak down to were the cord is connected and circuit board possibly is and could cause a potential electrical fire. That as well as cheap. You buy cheap you get cheap, next time I'm getting a better quality for the extra cost... After all that bad issues. If you get a perfect quality one. It is easy to use, and clean.

This product for the price is amazing. I don't have a huge counter space so this being compact was the best! It's very easy to use and small enough to fit in a tiny space. It did its job. My only con is the water doesn't seem to get as hot as a normal pot but that not really a big deal I just use hot water to start off.

I purchased this coffee maker because of its long neck for slightly taller cups and for use with coffee grounds and K-Cups. When using the coffee maker for the first time the top lid feels very flimsy and hard to close at times. Someone would think they would break it on the first use. Looking past this overall it's a really decent coffee maker.

After 12-18 cups brewed it has done a great job. I find it very convenient to be able to easily make a cup of coffee any time and have it fresh. The only niggle I have with this coffee maker is that the LEDs on the front are intense. I mean intense! In a 28' x 34' room totally dark they will illuminate it and throw shadows on the ceiling and walls. A piece of black electrical tape carefully placed over the active mode button is an easy solution but really the engineers that specified these LEDs really went overboard. It washes out the two motion activated night lights in the room. Other than the crazy intense LEDs it is a great little unit.Update:So, 10 months later and not so great. Unit starting to brew rather inconsistent. The temperature can be erratic and the flavor of the coffee is more average to yuck. When it fails to stop “brewing” when it should be done but actually did not move all the water through, pulling the plug and starting over seems to be the recovery. Time to do something different.Cons:Small, fixed H2O tank that is easy to spill when filling.Cleaning is a challenge.Splash is a problem unless the plastic included tumbler is used.Price just ok but not great given current behavior.The kicker, premature failure.

Easy one cup at a time coffee pot. Saddlery it stopped working after only three months. The water would get hot and to would start spiting steamy hot water out but the pump that pumps the water into the cup must have died because it wouldn’t fill my cup. Hot dangerously hot!

I really wanted to like this product - it's cute, makes a good, hot cup of coffee for the price range, you can use either grounds or kcups, and most importantly it's small so it doesn't take up precious countertop space. I truly want to give it more but I just can't justify higher than a 1 star when it's advertised as being programmable but has a faulty system. Each minute only lasts between 37 - 45 seconds which means it quickly becomes out of sync with the actual time. And even when I accounted for the clock speed during a few tests it only seemed to auto make the coffee 2/3 times. Disappointing, will be returning

The reason this didn't get a 1 start rating is because it brews a pretty decent cup of coffee. Not bad at all. The problem is the pieces fall apart with normal use. There's a piece that fell off 3 times in a week and you can't close the top without it. There's a spring in there that pops out when that piece breaks. If you lose it, good luck. Not a terrible coffee brewer but you will literally have to work for it. It's not cheap either. I'd rather buy a different brand for the price range of this one. If it were priced at $20 to $25 I wouldn't have been surprised at the poor engineering. Just saying... I had to return after one week of torture. The programming feature also works decently just to add that in at the end....
