My grandson smokes Cigarette and marijuana how much will this air purifier pull out. The smoke carries through air conditioner vents on ceiling

HEPA filters help a lot with smoke but there's no magic bullet for cigarettes especially. A very cheap (>$10) option to help with the vents would be to use a vent filter kit in his room and around the house. Good luck!

Does it use a lot of electricity?

We have not notice any increase in our Electric bill. We do shut it off around 10 and turned it back on at about 7 am. It really does a fantastic job cleaning the air.

Would this help with the smell of a nail salon room?
