Does anyone know if it is fishing line under the material in the small connector loop? That’s what mine has now and I feel it’s stronger using that.

No, there is no fishing line core in the small loop. It appears to be made from a few strands of strong polyester thread / fibers. I haven’t had one break yet, though I usually don’t let my phone hang from it. I’m usually holding the phone with the lanyard around my wrist so if I drop the phone, the lanyard is a safety net.

How do i attach it to my case? Do i have to buy a hook separately. Dont wanna buy this then but a new case :/

What I did was melt 2 holes in the bottom corner of my favorite case and stick it through there. If the case doesn’t have holes already.

How much weight can they handle ? Looking to use for hanging tools from pegboard hooks

If you're talking about smaller hand tools like hammers and screwdrivers, yes they'll handle the weight. I wouldn't use them for heavier tools like a drill.

Is the band elastic or non?

Hi. The straps are nylon and they do not have any elasticity. They are used for electronics and optical products. Having an elastic band on a product like that can damage it and can potentially injure the user.
