I brought these to go on a wooden staircase as my elderly dog was slipping. I wasn't sure at the time if they would stick well enough and was all set to go and buy carpet tape. However these went on like a dream, super easy to install, pull up and reposition with no loss of grab. I have an L shaped staircase and had enough to put one on each straight tread and 2 on each of the curved steps. Very easy to cut to fit. And the best thing .... My girl goes up the stairs with confidence no slipping at all. I just hope that if i take up to wash they will go back the same.well worth the money and not at all expensive, if they did hallway runners i would get those too.

These non slip treads were just what we needed to make our stairs safer, particularly fir older visitors and pers. They look very stylish too. Easy to fit and exactly as described.

The carpet treads were easy to install and trim for both landings and stair winders. As others have mentioned, the underside of the treads is TACKY rather than STICKY. Therefore, make sure to clean the treads thoroughly before laying them. Press down firmly on each tread after laying it to improve adhesion. Double-sided tape will be necessary for the nosing edge of the treads; a couple of ours have started to lift slightly but only after after a couple of months. Overall, we are very pleased with them.

I bought these to protect our newly installed oak stairs from wear and tear whilst we still have tradespeople in the house who require boots to work safely. They stay in place well, and there has been many compliments on how good they look, and elderly visitor stated they felt much safer using the stairs than without them. Highly recommended

I bought these over 2 years ago and forgot to write a review, they were supposed to be a temporary solution to my bare stairs.But! I love them, I have 3 children a dog and 2 cats. The cats pluck the carpet, the children slide down the stairs. They have been battered and used heavily. Not one of them has started to lift, nor have they frayed. They are in as perfect condition as the day I got them. I was pregnant when I ordered them so I just folded them up and stuff them in a drawer, I didn't expect them to fully flatten or stick. But they are absolutely absolutely worth every penny.Oh and they can handle a good hoover and scrub tooApplication is literally remove the backing and put them down, they're not sticky but somewhat rubbery? Very very simple anyway.Can't recommend enough

I ordered these yesterday, they arrived next day, I put them down on the stairs in about 20 minutes!I am no DIYr, I am 66 years young and put them down myself. The instructions are 4 easy steps and now look fabulous on my stairs.My stairs are painted and have held the adhesive very very safe and sound. All exactly as described. ….. the only thing I can’t yet comment on is their longevity But… they seem to be made of very durable material. Very pleased.

Looks great, feels great but sadly the adhesion is quite pathetic in the box I received. Consider buying some spray-on glue with it.

Great quality!! Really nice and easy to use, we removed our old carpet and painted the stairs but we have dogs and they didn’t like the stairs without any carpet as it was slippery, so we found the solution and really happy with it.
