Mine just broke - purchased on march 4th and am past my replace window by 2 days. any chance i can still have it replaced? really love the item.

does it work on plastic corks?

When we first tried it, it took all corks. Plastic and standard cork. After about 6 months, something happened and even with fresh batteries, it will only drive in 1/2in and stops. It appears to be broken after 6 months.
