Good for a cheap strap
Three star? But it's real leather, hard to score at this price point Feels durable. Looks -- well, not ugly from social distance or farther. So, four stars? It's *cheap* leather, stiff, like a step was skipped in the tanning process. The edges feel rough. The cotton stitching seems too small for the holes. Yet these complaints make it seem worse than the actual experience. Yes I was let down (3 stars). But it IS a leather strap made in North America for 13-16 bucks.(4+ stars for value). Fits my Seagull dreadnaught in many ways, come to think of it. I can't give 3 3\4 stars. Definitely not a three, though. I might try some leather softener and update ...Here it is: Bought a bottle of neatsfoot oil to try to get a baseball-glove feel. The strap absorbed some but the top has some kind of resistant coating that prevents penetration. I guess I could have soaked and dried it (like you do with a glove) or stripped it with alcohol to get more oil into it. It wound up a little softer. Oil added appropriately $15 to the cost.Bottom line, it's not too stiff out of the box. It just stiff enough to feel a little cheap. By the time I started I was pretty happy with it and did my experiment out of curiosity, mostly.Unwrap it, stick it on your guitar, it will do the job. Its a good, cheap strap.

Very good for the money
This strap is of very good build quality and very fine looking. It has two different adjustment points, ensuring a comfortable fit, but I just wanted to lament how fantastic the quality is for the price. I'm buying one for each of my guitars now.

Good for the price, but too long for me, and it will stretch out a bit
I got this because it's a sweet looking basic white leather strap. Before it arrived I was dubious about the quality because it's so inexpensive. But it's a decent leather strap, and does it's job. It's not as thick as some other leather straps that I own (more expensive ones), but not the thinnest either. Mine is about 2mm thick. One thing to keep in mind is that all new leather straps stretch out a bit after you start using them. I set the strap on the shortest setting, which was already too long for me (I'm small and I like the guitar up pretty high), on my Les Paul (9 lbs) and the strap has stretched out by an inch or so, so far, maybe more.My plan is to keep using the strap for a while for practice until it seems like it's stretched as much as it's going to, and then make a few strategic cuts and use my leather punch to create new holes where I need them. This is extra work but I also had to do this on my more expensive Levi's leather strap too, so it's not too much work to have a cool white leather strap that's the right length, for a really low price.

Very impressed with this strap for the price
I have some nice Couch and Souldier straps but just needed something cheaper to replace a strap that keeps sliding due to neck dive on my guitar. This stays put and solves the issue but after a few weeks of owning it I have to say I it's really nice now that it has broken in. It is definitely real leather (ignore the other reviews that claim it isn't) but was a bit stiff at first. I can't think of a better leather strap for the price honestly. I've paid more for leather straps that weren't as nice. I also really like how tight the holes fit around the strap button, making it feel more secure. I hope this holds up but I have no reason to think it won't.

Well made but .....
Not sure if I missed something in the description but this is a tad short for most of my guitars. I tried it on a Fender & Yamaha Dreadnought & it's not quite long enough, even on the last holes. Same as Tanglewood Crossoads [Dread & Orchestra]. So, on chunkier guitars I should imagine it's ok if you are a little person or you like your guitar trapped up high. It's ok on an Ibanez Talman so I'd say It would be better on up to 3/4 size, some folk & electric guitars: thin & or smaller bodies. It would be better if the underside of the shoulder pad wasn't white as it will look grimey rather quickly. The strap is really sturdy & well made though.

Extremely good value strap.
It's genuine, good quality leather, exactly 2.5" wide, nice and flexible. There's no dodgy stitching. The strap pin holes are pretty tight to start with, which is A Good Thing as you won't need rubber washers or strap locks. It's very long if you want it to be. It's not particularly grippy on the shoulder (use some 80 grit sandpaper on the inside of the shoulder rest point if you need a bit more), but it's not at all slippy either.Looks like it will withstand years of abuse. You really cannot go wrong for £13.95. Recommended.

Nice thick leather strap
OK so I bought a green base ball leather strap from Perri's prior to buying this one as I was so pleased with it, I have to say this one which is double stitched leather is a little disappointing considering it was more expensive, its very stiff and not so nice leather, but it will do the job and on using I hope the leather will become more pliable and soft

You Get a Lot More Than The Price, Would Suggest.
I've bought three of Perri's straps for my electric basses. When I bought the first one, I really wasn't expecting much for the price. However I was very pleasantly surprised, when I received it. The leather is pretty thick and of good quality. I use those little rubber washers to keep the strap in place, just to be on the safe side. I've had the first strap for around a year now and it shows very little signs of wear. I've now bought another two. I like to play my bass slung quite low and there is plenty of adjustment in the straps I have bought. The length of the strap is very easy to adjust. I think they sell a longer strap as well, but for my needs, the length of the standard strap is fine.

Not leather
Needed a cheap guitar strap, I thought this was too good to be true - a 3" leather strap for just over a fiver. And I was right, it's PVC. BUT IT DOES THE JOB.
