Will this work on the d1 mini esp32?

Can it work on a 5v nano? post says "the working voltage os 3.3v, i/o and 5v signal led" does that mean it needs 5v for link light, but 3.3 all else

Per the data sheet the max VDD voltage is 3.6 Symbol Parameter Pins Min Typ Max Unit VDD Supply voltage 3.3V 2.97 3.3 3.63 V I'm using it on a Pi-Zero. source is 3.3 vdc and the link and activity lights work as expected. I wouldn't connect it directly to 5 volts.
