Buy this and don't look back!
I love this thing! It is perfect for any beverage, and keeps my beer ice cold. 32 oz is a great size, perfect for an all day sipper on a beach trip. I love the orange color, I think it's so much more unique over black or silver. Keeps beer drinkable all day. From personal usage, the beer loses its really crisp/cold taste after about 8 hours depending on where I am. Living in California, I'm sure its also due to the weather. Thankfully, my beer never lasts that long without being finished. Handle is perfect for carrying around since the growler is too wide for most cup holders or backpack bottle sleeves. A little heavy if you're only using it for water, but for beer lovers it is worth its weight in gold. If you do use it for water, the wide lip is great for full size ice cubes. The material allows for stickers to peel off easily, which is great since my local breweries all place stickers of the beer when I fill up. Best thing to do it prime before using, which I do by placing water and ice in it for about 30 minutes before I fill my choice beverage. My favorite brewery is about 40 minutes away, so I fill my growler up with ice water and empty it right before the fill up.Only a few complaints with this growler.1. Too wide for all the cup holders I've tried it with. It can be annoying/scary having a full growler roll around my car since it doesn't fit anywhere, especially when I hear a ding when the metal hits something. After the first time it fell from my passenger seat from rolling around, I ended up securing it with a seat belt! Also, the weight can be annoying since I can't fit it in my backpack's bottle sleeves.2. While the material is fantastic for grip or peeling off brewery stickers, it scratches easily. I baby this thing as much as I can, and seeing little scratches bums me out. It does give it a weathered look, but I like/try to keep all of my things looking pristine.3. The all metal lid and lip randomly tastes like metal, even after numerous washes. Sometimes I take a swig and the metal overpowers the beer inside. Total taste killer for some reason. Most of the time after a few deep washes this still pops up. However, this issue doesn't pop up that often. More of a warning. Wash it numerous times before using it with beer.Overall, I wouldn't trade this thing in the world. I would prefer a slightly taller container if it was thin enough to fit in cup holders.

It's useless as a beer growler
I'm a little conflicted as to how to rate this growler. As a water bottle, maybe a 3.5, possibly a 4 if I'd gotten the flip top lid option. As a beer growler, I'd give it a 1. I'll be generous today and give it a 3 overall. The solid lid feels gritty when it's being screwed on and off, unlike other similar stainless growlers I've handled which are almost silky smooth. I'm a relatively strong guy and I have to tighten it almost to the point of exhaustion to keep it from leaking. This makes it a deal killer as a beer growler, because if you can't get a leak proof liquid seal there's no way it's going to keep carbonation in for any respectable length of time. I bought the black one, and there is a very rough edge where the coating begins just below the mouth. I don't know if this is because they didn't bother to smooth out the edge, or if that's just the way this particular coating works, but that rough edge coupled with the gritty threads makes the whole thing feel cheap, as does the carry handle which has already fallen out on me after barely a week. If I had to do it again, I'd order the plain aluminum color with a flip top cap and just use this as a water bottle. It's useless as a beer growler.

Works well
It's OK. The orange cerakote finish was pretty thin on the bottom of mine. Not a big deal, but I would have expected the finish to be perfect on a premium priced growler. I've only used it a handful of times (primarily to keep ice cold water in my truck for post MTB ride consumption). It seems to keep things cold just fine for the 4-5 hours it's in the hot interior of my truck. Overall, I recommend it but question if it's worth the extra expense vs. cheaper alternatives.

Love My Smoky Mountain Water Bottle
Bought a similar black Smoky Mountain Growler years ago and it is wonderful! Needed another one so I bought an orange one. Great product and love the top with the hook. Definitely would recommend; keeps ice water cold!

lid doesn't hold pressure
disappointed that the lid seal doesn't hold pressure very well when used as a beer growler. i used it and ended up with cold, flat beer. i bought this specifically because it was called a "growler" so assumed it would be good at storing beer and maintaining carbonation. it does a good job of keeping things cold though.

Hell of a nice 32 Oz container.
It is a container that holds liquid. It performs that function splendidly. I've yet to try heated liquids, but cold can be maintained for at least a day without effort. Love how tuff it is and have no regrets about going orange.I wish it came with the option of a drinkable/pull-straw lid, though.
