Purchased these shoes for my son as a Christmas gift. He has always been on the fence about DC shoes. (My youngest is addicted to them!) I went out on a limb when making the purchase & figured I could just return them if they weren't to his liking! Boy was I in for a pleasant surprise Christmas morning! :)He absolutely LOVED them! My little one was sad he didn't have a matching pair, however, as we all know, DC doesn't make all the same designs for the differing age groups!My son wore these shoes every single day & wanted a new pair once they were worn out from running around outside & at school!They hold up well, especially considering how active my son is; which is great in my book, since I'm the one to purchase his shoes!He was able to stretch the west time about a month longer than alternate shoe types he's had in the past!!The durability coupled with such a fabulous design makes these shoes a top pick for our family!!

Very Clean
This review is for the White/Black Stripe colorway. I'm giving it a 4 star review because it's a great shoe but it's not perfect. When compared to my Dunk SB's the size and fit is the same. They look great and although I've only worn them 3 times, I've been complemented on them twice. So they do get attention especially since they're such a clean white. The only issues I have with them is that the sole is rubber like Chuck Taylor's, so they're very hard to clean and if you scuff a dark surface you'll get a irremovable mark. The only other complaint is that the sole is sort of thick and solid so it makes the shoe kind of stiff when considering flexion. Other than those 2 gripes I really like these shoes and I'll probably buy another pair in a different colorway.

Totally recommend, probably the most comfortable shoes i have ever wear
It's perfect, in size, very comfortable, very heavy duty, i can wear it for a whole day and just envy my foot they are the most relaxed part of my body :Dsadly the only draw back, is that the graphic got weary after a short time, and it was no easy task to clean it, it still looks great and super cool, but the fact when looking at how fast it got weary is sad, other than that it would have took five stars :)totally recommend it

Sizes Run Small
I purchased these as a gift for my nephew, who's a big fan of DC Shoes and had completely worn out his previous pair. The style of these (with the black, grey and white, and the blue laces) is very appealing. Unfortunately, the size I ordered doesn't fit, even though it's the size he wears in all his other shoes. His parents mentioned that it must be this specific brand, because they had the same problem when they purchased his previous pair. SUGGESTION: Order a half-size larger than you would wear in other shoe brands.

High Quality, Sturdy and Attractive
I am not a skateboarder, so that is not a factor. By the same thinking, I do not like wearing running shoes for daily use. I find them ugly and awkward for normal walking.I buy this type of shoe for ordinary casual use with jeans or shorts. DC shoes have proven to be high quality, very sturdy and attractive. This is my 3rd pair of DC shoes and all have been outstanding in construction and durability. They are not light, however, and they are somewhat stiff to break in. This particular pair are also somewhat snug, so I will buy a half size bigger for my next pair. Still, I would not return this pair and am fully satisfied.

Dunno what people are knocking off pts for re: arch support and prolonged activity. If you want an arch support or X-training type shoe, why are you buying this?? That being said, if you want a shoe that is pretty comfy (not a X-trainer or running shoe), and looks stylish as h3ll, these shoes are awesome. I always get lots of compliments from my fellow nursing staff on these (I prefer the white w/ black mid-stripe). Fit seems true to size.

*Note, this review is basically a carbon copy of one I did for a pair of Osiris shoes I ordered with these.These are exactly what I was looking for. The camo design is pretty sick. The fit is great, which was a relief. Apparently my feet have started growing again. I've worn a 9.5 since high school, and there have been a few pairs of DC's I've ordered which have fit very snug. These don't fit snug, but they're not loose either. This porridge is just right.
