Good anti-seize protection in an easy to use tube that is big enough for most people
I have one of the big 8oz jars of this same anti-seize Permatex 80078 Anti-Seize Lubricant with Brush Top Bottle, 8 oz. that I have used for several years on all manner of projects, but recently I needed to change some spark plugs in a confined space in a boat and I wanted to make sure that I was able to do the job without making any extra mess. When I was buying the spark plugs I saw these small tubes listed as "also purchased" items and the light went off. This way rather than bringing the big jar with a brush on lid into the boat or trying to pre-lube the plugs and not touch anything on the way in I could sit down in the engine compartment and dab a little on the threads right as I was installing them. No mess at all, and after use I was able to thread the cap back on and put it back in my jacket pocket so I didn't have to set it down anywhere and risk a mess or worse knocking it into someplace in the bilge that would be a pain to get to it. Just a dab on the threads will ensure when I need to remove the plugs again from the aluminum head that there wont be a problem. It also works great on a lot of other marine and automotive fasteners and tight fit areas where the use of anti-seize could be tolerated. If you are considering this nickle formula as compared to the copper formulas they consider the copper to be a general purpose and the nickle formulas to have a higher heat tolerance in addition to being able to use on metals that should not be allowed to come into prolonged contact with copper. I prefer to just have this formula on hand. The one ounce tube is probably enough to last you a very long time if you don't often have a need for it, I do quite a bit of this type of work and I have probably only used half of the 8oz jar I have in the last half a dozen years so for most people this is the one you want to get, but I do like having both as the brush comes in very handy for applying to larger surfaces. If you are buying this to use on spark plugs also consider a dielectric grease to put in the ends of the boots like this one Permatex 81150 Dielectric Tune-Up Grease, .33 oz Tube or a bigger tube if you do the job more frequently.

Works great, easy to add, easy to clean off any excess
I got this to use when installing a new PVC valve in my girlfriend's car. It is not technically needed, but if you are the next person to replace the part when it wears out, you will love yourself by using it. Anti-seize saves you from the part getting stuck fast from the many expansions and contractions caused by heat and there being dissimilar metals. You use so very little each time it is needed, the stuff will last a long time. Get it, the price is good and you (or your mechanic later on) will thank you for having used it. Just do it, it is the right thing to do. Highly recommended.

Does what it should
This stuff seems to be the industry standard, seeing as they sell it everywhere. Iโm not a mechanic, but I had a banjo with rusty coordinator rod threads. I scrubbed the rust off with some WD-40 and then applied some of this to the threads to make sure I can adjust them again later. Screwed together really smooth so Iโm sure it did its job. You have to be careful with making a mess, it seems to leave a silver residue on things that it touches that is difficult to remove.

This is the worst tasting anti-seize lubricant Iโve ever bought.
Just kidding: DO NOT eat this stuff. Iโm pretty sure it wouldnโt be good for you. This product works well enough, however, I would recommend buying the larger container with the applicator brush. This type of lubricant is messy and gets on everything. Squeezing it out from a small tube is a disaster just waiting to happen. Spend the extra bucks for the larger container, itโs not that much more in price actually and itโs also a greater value.

Works great. Had some stubborn threads that leaked past the o-ring, worked perfectly!

Works!
Use this for stuff like lisence plate bolts.. You know something you will definitely be taking apart again.. Cars get alot of rain moisture and it seeps into all the knooks and crannies. Before I used this I could never get the bolts out because they were all rusted.. Alittle bit of this stuff and I can confirm it works great.. No rust after a year!
