Medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) are fats that are naturally found in both coconut and palm kernel oils, but NOW Sports Organic MCT Oil is derived exclusively from organic coconut oil. MCTs are more easily and rapidly digested than other types of fats. They are readily absorbed from the GI tract and are metabolized very quickly by the liver, where they are reported to encourage the use of fat for energy rather than for storage.* Numerous studies suggest that substituting MCT oil for other fats in a healthy diet may therefore help to support healthy weight and body composition.*

Great health benefits
Great health benefits for people on KETO and low carb diets and people who surgically removed the gull bladder, as this type of fats does not rquire pile for digestion and can be absorbed directly by body in few minutes.

Perfect for my morning smoothie
A friend suggested adding this to my smoothie. I haven’t noticed a difference for myself personally but my husband does get stomach issues if it’s in his.

A Good Value
My wife and I like the taste and mixability of this brand. Now has a good reputation and I like many of their products. One thing though.... I prefer a glass bottle.

Key differentiator: 50-80% C8, 20-50% C10
This product is the fifth MCT (medium-chain triglycerides) oil product I've tried out in recent months. While some debate exists as to whether cooking with extra virgin olive oil is a healthy choice, I've used it for many years because it's healthy relative to many of the other available choices, and has a pleasant taste. At least, I personally find it to have a pleasant taste for most foods I typically cook. In recent years, I've also periodically made use of coconut oil, around which debate also exists, but unlike extra virgin olive oil all of the coconut oil products I've seen come in either sprays or solid form, and one of the main reasons I became interested in MCT oil is its being available in liquid form. I've used this NOW Sports product several times in recent weeks after trying similar products from Mission Nutrition, Strength Genesis and QSTA in the past year, and am fond of all of because these provide a very light relative to extra virgin olive oil to the point of having zero taste. The main challenge I've found cooking with these oils is that a non-stick surface isn't created as it is with extra virgin olive oil, although I've learned to keep the heat down and add more time to cook. The key difference between this product is that "typical composition" is 50-80% C8 and 20-50% C10. If you're looking for more specific labeling, try the other products I've mentioned, because Mission Nutrition claims 100% C8 and QSTA claims 100% C10. In contrast, the labeling for Strength Genesis claims 60% C8 and 40% C10, somewhat similar to NOW Sports. But regardless, an apples-to-apples comparison isn't possible across these four products.
