Great motherboard. I updated the system BIOS before even before installing the board. BIOS update went with no issues. Installed the board and all other hardware. Installed Windows 11. System is fast and very responsive.

Gigabyte did a great job with this motherboard. First ever PC build, matched this clean mobo with a 5600x cpu and 5600xt gpu. Easy build frame, nice cable organization options. Super nice option now with over priced DDR5 ram costs, DDR4 makes for a nice and capable budget friendly build. If it's your first build and you don't seek 4K gaming on ultra settings, this could be your base for a long term gaming station.

Supported 5800X3D out of the box. Writing this to assist anyone else that has the same issue as I did. This board is paired with an RTX 5070 and replaced a failing Asrock Steelseries micro b450. After replacing, I would receive a blank screen, the case fans would ramp to 100 percent and require a manual shutdown. I was able to address the issue by using separate PCI-E 8pin rails from my PSU. I would also recommend reinstalling Windows. No issues with my 5800XD3 and with the available features and a quick Google, I was able to under volt with better performance and knock about 7C off the average CPU temp.

Excellent board. My only (very minor) complaint is that the ram slots are a little too close to the CPU socket so the fan on my CPU cooler had to be adjusted to sit a little higher than I would've liked. But, that's really more on me for not checking measurements before buying the cooler. Won't even be an issue if you're using an AIO or stock cooler. Will need a BIOS update for 5000 series CPUs, so make sure you download an updated BIOS version to a flash drive prior to starting your build. The board supports Q flash, so you can even update without having to boot to the BIOS. The board has an orange light along the back of the IO. It looks cool, but if you're anti-RGB like me you'll be happy to know that you can turn that off in the BIOS. Overall really good board. If you're wondering if this is the one, it is.

I got this to replace my motherboard that died which was an earlier version of this one. That one lasted four years. This new one worked great right out of the box for Linux Mint. No issues installing it. Unfortunately Windows 10 isn't playing nice with the bluetooth which I didn't have on the motherboard that died. I'm still sorting that out. But that's an OS issue. Linux was able to see and use the bluetooth with no issues what so ever. For those interested, I have a dual boot system running Windows 10 and Linux Mint 22. I will update if I figure out the bluetooth issue with W10. I thought it would be a simple fix by updating the driver but no luck with that so far.

The motherboard is a strong choice for anyone building a Ryzen-based system. It supports Ryzen 5000 series processors without issue, and the performance has been excellent in both gaming and productivity tasks. The layout is clean, with plenty of headers, and the dual M.2 slots and PCIe 4.0 support are great for future-proofing.

This replaced my prehistoric PC from 2010, and Im not sure why I didnt upgrade sooner!? Welcome to the future My first Gigabyte build, Im very pleased with this motherboard. Lots of features you get on most expensive motherboards. Plenty of fan headers, several RGB headers too. Two M.2 slots, 4 ram slots, 4 sata HDD ports(wished it had 6 though), WiFi and Bluetooth. Which i wasnt looking for wireless connectivity, but Im glad i have it now. Works great with my PS4 wireless controller via BT. The board i got as of March 2024 was the newest Revision so i didnt need to update the bios to get anything working. I paired this board with the Ryzen 7 3700X , 64GB of Crucial memory($500 build), and everything seems to be working great together. Using a XFX RX 5700XT 8gb video card, gaming is unreal! Got post on first boot, which is always awesome! Though that start-pause-restart at the beginning it always makes you hesitant. I would definitely recommend this board

Hacia rato quería dar el salto a B550, la verdad la Placa base cumple muchísimo con estándares top pero hay detallitos que me hubiera gustado se hubiesen mantenido. La placa no tiene leds indicadores de arranque y la distribución de los conectores para ventiladores (de la caja) me pareció rara en esta placa pero puede que a alguien le incomode ese hecho que tengas que conectar el panel principal casi a mitad de la Motherboard por eso lo menciono. Puntos fuertes del producto son sus VRM's, su calidad de construcción es perfecta, su refuerzo de PCI-Express esta bastante pulido y se nota el detalle por esa calidad y resistencia. La verdad a mí configuración está Placa Base ha resultado muy bien así que me gustaría recomendarla por las tecnologías que maneja siendo AM4.

Kein Karton um das Mainboard zudem wurde Retouren ware verwendet da dort schon zwei weitere Adressen auf dem Karton standen, funktionierte aber alles einwandfrei. Karton hatte einige Beschädigungen weshalb ich mir ein wenig sorgen machte. Teile nächste mal bestellen über Amazon, definitiv nein.

Placa boa demais, chegou completa, atende as necessidades que eu tinha e com muita margem para upgrade.

Después de mucho investigar me decidí por esta mother tengo 3 meses usándola y hasta el momento estoy satisfecho con mi compra, no es la mas cara ni sofisticada del segmento pero si tiene una calidad muy por encima del promedio, todo le funciona sin problema llego nueva sellada, y luce bien hay que configurar varias cosas en bios para que la instalación de win 11 sea la optima nada que un video que hay en linea no les resuelva en 10 minutos. Hasta el momento no puedo decir mas que estoy satisfecho con mi compra.

One of the cheaper b550 board w/ wifi you can find on the market. Due to personal reason have to use WLAN, was choosing between asus tuf plus and this one. Pros: Full feature set you can expect from b550, good VRM thermal, no heat problem for multi-core OC (I don't have a 5900x so idk about that one, but if you use R9 might as well go for x570). Have more than enough io for most pc users; the free antenna works perfectly, great signal strength. The bios update and tweaking was smooth without any issue. Overall experience was good, definitely recommend. Cons: B550 AORUS Mobo family has this common issue of failing to detect bluetooth adaptor, so you will see bluetooth missing in the system(even after you show hidden item in device manager). This can be solved by cold booting the system (i.e. cut off the power from outlet or off the PSU before next bootup). I guess this is a BIOS problem as something in the HW power up sequence was not properly reset, detected or timed. Anyway, at the time of this review, latest BIOS haven't solve the problem. P.S. If your pc case doesn't have any front usb-c port, go for V1.
