I bought the dark blue colour and they are really blackout. Used in a recording area and they block out the sound reverb from the radiator under the window. Very soft material as well. Pleased with curtains for the price. Pictures taken at 6.25 in the morning in room which is south facing and super bright until early evening each day. Curtains work very well considering the room location.

The media could not be loaded.  Happy with this pink color curtains. Exactly the color as in picture. Really good material. Worth the money spent on these lovely curtains.

I bought these during the latter part of winter, and even though light seeped through, if was bearable. Now we're fully into the glorious English summer, these curtains are quite clearly not blackout.As per the colour guide, I picked a super dark colour to get the maximum blackout effect. Not particularly effective.They're cheap, and if you have a liner kicking about, I'm sure they'll be just fine.

Arrived on time and well packaged.2 x Pairs of Forest Green Eyelet curtains.These curtains are absolutely gorgeous.The quality of the fabric used is excellent for the price, they feel incredibly soft and the colour is exactly as described, a beautiful rich, dark forest green.They hang extremely well and block the sunlight once fully closed.I could not be more pleased with my purchase.We are currently in the process of a home makeover so I shall definitely be buying the same make of curtains again but in different colours.Excellent value for money.Not a single bad word to say about them.Thank you.5*

I absolutely love these curtains. The first pair I received were damaged. One of the curtains had a very thin cut in the material, in a straight line like it had been caught by a machine.I only noticed after putting them up and seeing the light come through the slit.The second pair I received are perfect though. I bought them in grey and absolutely love the look and feel of the material. They're lightweight, good quality and very effective as blackout curtains, so overall they're excellent value.I'm a very light sleeper and I'm quite sensitive to light. If I don't have decent blackout curtains, I am woken at sunrise by the brightness. These curtains are excellent at blocking out almost all of the light.The pricing was great too and when I went to reorder them after returning the damaged pair, they were £4 cheaper, so a bargain!These curtains are cheaper, lighter and nicer quality than most of the blackout blinds I've had in the past. The real test will be next summer, but I'm confident they'll do the trick.They feel great too.Highly recommended.

NOT light blocking and NOT sound blocking. I personally wouldn’t call them thermal either. BUT, they do block a lot of the light out and it seems that the darker colours do a better job of this then the lighter colours but they still manage to block enough light for the room to be snuggly and dark enough to sleep in the day. They muffle the sound a little but not greatly. I live on a busy road and can still hear the noise of the crossing lights when the curtains are closed. They do help to keep the room a tiny bit warmer but I wouldn’t call them thermal and they definitely won’t get me any savings on my gas bill. The sizes seem to be off, I ordered the large size for my widows but when they turned up they were too short. I measured and they didn’t even match up to the size stated. They sent another and the exact same thing happened so I gave up.

I previously ordered 2single curtains from Amazon. Then found this pair at better price. The colour is perfect for my colour scheme. I have now ordered another 2 sets for my living room. I live in a flat so want each room to be same yet with different decor. The quality for price is excellent. I ordered baby pink which is actually like a pale dusky colour. Do not be put off by girl bedroom description. They offer excellent blackout at night. Recon that quality same regardless of chosen colours. Buy with confidence.

Update: Machine washed at 30 degrees, spin setting at 800. They came out absolutely perfect. Dried within a couple of hours too. So impressed I got some of these for my mother's house. 💕Got these as my bedroom window is right next to a light post and it's been annoying me forever. I am so happy I got them, it's a bargain price and really good quality. Soft material and 100% blackout for sure. Also I noticed a difference in the temperature of my bedroom which means the curtains absolutely do what their headline suggests. I haven't tried to wash them yet but will be updating my review once I do. Definitely recommend
