Good Product
I bought this item on a plan to add it to the existing 4gb ram on my HP Laptop and that's what I did. surprisingly, the Laptop became even slower than it was before. I had a doubt and removed the old 4gb ram and ran the system with only 8GB and it blew me away. Works very well and faster. I never understood why the other 4gb didn't work together with the new one. If anyone knows, please do comment.

I dismayed for the Amazon prime offer, but for the Crucial 8GB DDR4 2666Mhz it's perfect!
I thought the first order is free shipping, but why still have a delivery charged AED 10. And, I dismayed because prime offering that if I used my Debit card, they deliver my order in the next day, so I gave my trust in their offer. Tsk tsk tsk! I gave 5 stars for the item that I received because it's working well and no issue, so I recommend the seller.

This product has allowed me to run gta 5 on a really low spec i3 laptop with integrated graphics. MASSIVE improvement in performance. The laptop doesnt heat up so quickly anymore. ALSO, battery lasts longer now. LOVE THE PRODUCT!

Perfect add-on for my Synology DS220+
Installed this 8GB RAM in my DS220+ and the DSM immediately recognised the memory (to a total of 10 GB). Perfect alternative if you intend to increase your Synology RAM as the price is so much cheaper than the official memory chips. Disclaimer: I have only used it on DS220+ and it works. You may wish to experiment it on other Synology models.

FUNCIONAN PERFECTO
Crucial 2x8GB DDR4-2666. Instaladas en un portátil HP Laptop 15-db1xxx. Funcionan perfectamente pero, aunque el CPUIDZ dice que efectivamente pueden llegar a 2666Mhz (1333Mhz x 2), Windows informa de que están trabajando a 2400MHz. CPUIDZ muestra varias combinaciones de timings posibles que la tarjeta de memoria informa que soporta, y que normalmente se pueden seleccionar desde la BIOS del PC, pero la BIOS del portátil HP está muy capada y no se puede configurar nada de eso. Las originales que tenía el portátil indicaban lo mismo en Windows y al sacarlas indicaban que también eran de 2666MHz, mismo fabricante de los chips, Micron.

Works great with my Synology NAS DS720+ !
After struggling a bit to find a suitable memory for my Synology NAS DS720+ someone recommended me to get this memory. Was very simple to install and my NAS identified the memory straight aways, booted up without issues and has been working well with the latest DSM 7.X versions. Considering that the official Synology Memory is quite expensive and hard to get, this one is a steal and performs great. Highly recommended. June 2022

Emballage minimaliste, Efficacité redoutable (Dell G5 5590, 1x8Go)
Contexte : J'ai récemment fait l'acquisition d'un PC portable Dell G5 5590 (version 15", Français) sur le site de Dell. Le PC était livré avec 1x8Go de RAM. L'objectif était de le faire monter à 16Go, en gardant la barrette d'origine. Je me suis donc tourné vers cette barrette de RAM. Livraison et emballage : produit livré par TNT en 3 jours ouvrés. La barrette de RAM est livrée dans une boite plastique souple transparente. Il y a peu d'espace dans la boite ce qui réduit (mais n'enlève pas) les chocs que la barrette pourrait subir (si seulement on secoue l'emballage Amazon dans tous les sens... emballage Amazon qui consistait en une pochette très fine à bulles, donc pas trop de risque !). Installation : Je ne crois pas avoir à détailler l'installation dans le PC, elle diffère selon les PC mais sur le Dell G5 5590, l'accès aux composants internes est très facile. Il faut insérer les connecteurs de la RAM dans ceux du slot mémoire libre sur la carte mère, avec une inclinaison de la RAM, par rapport à la carte mère, d'environ 45°. Puis, une fois la RAM insérée, appuyer dessus jusqu'à ce que les pates de maintien métalliques du slot mémoire se referment sur la RAM. Performances : c'est de la RAM. Ca marche ou ça ne marche pas, mais en tout cas là ça marche. Elle est instantanément reconnue et se rajoute aux 8Go déjà présents. Le PC est plus fluide (ce qui est logique dans un passage de 8Go à 16Go), et aucun soucis rencontré en jeu ou en modélisation avec Solidworks ou AutoCAD par exemple. Conclusion : Un très bon produit dans un emballage minimaliste. Pas de prise de tête, ça marche tout de suite, et bien. A recommander. (Photos à venir)
