This is really good stuff. It does have a waxier/stiffer consistency that other bead balms I have tried, but it still melts on your fingers and is just as easy to apply as softer balms.It definitely shapes the beard better than the other balms I have tried. It controls the stiff wiry stray hairs, and even brings in and shapes the hairs that want to grow in a different direction than you are trying to comb them in. Conditioning is also excellent.The scent is very nice; I liked it as soon as I opened the package. It's a little orangie and a little sweet but not too strong. To me it is sort of a nostalgic scent for some reason.I'd recommend it to anyone.

I've tried many different beard waxes and holds, none work as well as this one. This is by far the best for holding your hair how you want it without any greasy or oily mess. This just leaves your beard soft and doesn't flake at all or rub off easily. It's the perfect consistency to melt in your hands to apply. The smell is also amazing, many beard products smell the same but this one stands out as superior smelling as well. 6/5 stars on this product. I was upset when I couldn't get it during the pandemic but now that it's back I hope it's here to stay. Great stuff.

This is the third balm I have tried, starting with Cremo and then Honest Amish Heavy Duty Balm. Honest Amish did a great job of keeping my beard conditioned, but it provided very little control for my fly away hairs. Urban Nomads does the trick. It does an excellent job of locking down my fly away hairs and keeps it well conditioned. I don't have much experience with beard wax to compare this stuff too, but this has more of a substantive feel to it, and definitely goes on thicker (its kind of like a heavier weight oil) than the other balms I have used. It melts well and works into my beard easily. Holds well without feeling stiff and leaves very little oil feel behind. The scent is definitely different, but not unpleasant at all. it does fade away within an hour or so. I do notice it more at night when I am in bed.

Has a good "B&B coconut oil" smell and all but made me itch like a fiend and I have no known allergies other than certain types of grass. Probably good over all but not for me. Hold is pretty good, but I'd take Prophet's balm over this wax and the hold is near identical but it's got more of the usual good stuff a balm has that want's to nourish more so than hold. It's holds 85% as well as this for like half the price. Just my humble opinion.But this was still clearly a quality product and I don't want the 3 stars to dissuade you from a buy, I just like Prophet more and couldn't see this through because of the itch fest that happened to me in particular after applying it. Smells good, well packaged, better oil coverage of the beard than Prophet but that comes at the expense of being a bit oilier. Not a knock though, this is comparing a wax to a balm after all. However, when that wax holds dang near as well as a wax (when I'd rather have a balm than a wax to begin with) I'm going to lean toward the balm.

As the headline states, be careful! I placed my first order for this product and it was delivered within two days. Keep in mind I'm in AZ and it's 100°F these days. Upon opening the container the list was loose and the product had leaked and saturated it's packaging and soaked into three other items that were in the shipping container. When I opened the container I found over 1/3rd had leaked out and oh, what a mess? I returned the product to Amazon. From the product I got all over my hands when trying to clean up the mess from the first shipment I went ahead an rubbed it into my beard and I really liked it and decided to place a new order. The second shipment arrived a few minutes ago and that lid also was loose but not near of a mess as the first one so this one is a keeper. As for the product, I really like the smell. It has a hint of coconut oil and it leaves my beard feeling soft and more manageable than any other products I've tried over the last year.

I've been a bearder for years. It wasn't until recently that I discovered the magic that is beard oil. Since that discovery I've been growing my beard out longer. Well I found that beard oil only works so well once it reaches a certain length. I started with a fairly common hair pomade at first then found Urban Nomads wax. I got it today for Father's Day and I have been very pleased, very satisfied. The scent is very mild which I like since I wear cologne and I don't like clashing scents. It held all day, took care of the fly always. I mean simply, the product did exactly what I wanted. No complaints.****UPDATED 7/6/2017 to reflect new stronghold edition - If you're reading this and you've been using the run of mill beard balms you're in for an awakening. This is not a balm, its a wax. It's designed to hold and condition. I love it for the fact that it actually holds, nothing else even comes close to holding at well. Smells great, not too strong. There is not another product like it that I've found. Big fan of urban nomads products, keep up the good work.

I keep a 6-inch long beard made up of coarse, curly hair. It is so tough to keep it in any shape. I'd tried all manner of products to tame it to no avail, and I'd given up on trying new ones.This product appeared as a "People Also Purchased" item while shopping for a beard comb, and I am actually happy Amazon advertised something to me, for once!The consistency leans toward salve or balm. It easily melts between fingers enough to rub into your beard. Unlike most waxes, this glides smoothly and comfortably onto your beard. It does not leave any visible residue. My beard does not feel oily or waxy, but holds shape throughout my work day without fail.The noticeable fragrance is predominately a natural and understated vanilla. I am not especially fond of vanilla, but I really enjoy this smell. It is not overwhelming and does not project like some waxes with a musky fragrance.This is the product that you should buy if you have given up on using product to keep your long beard looking neat. A little bit each morning is all it takes to keep my beard looking great. A+ product!

Une très bonne cire à barbe !- Odeur agréable sans être trop soutenue- S'étale bien ( prendre une noisette dans la main et bien faire chauffer entre les mains )- Les ingrédients me semblent de qualité, pas d'allergies notoire- Bonne tenue durant la journée

Es justo lo que buscaba para dar forma a mi barba es tipo mantequilla dura pero al contacto con la piel se derrite y permite dar forma a la barba y además una de las pocas cremas que tiene un aroma agradable a fruta muy recomendable a diferencia de otras que he probado

Leider hat sich wohl die Zusammensetzung geändert. Ich hatte das Produkt ursprünglich immer wegen dem guten Halt geholt, den es nun nicht mehr gibt. Für mich ist das Produkt nun wie jedes andere Billigprodukt. Ich werde es nicht mehr bestellen. Anfragen an den Verkäufer werden auch nicht beantwortet, schade

Smells nice (I got the 'sweet' scented one), I would say if you're looking for a strong beard wax/something to hold your beard in place this stuff won't cut it though - it's a weak hold at best, so more of a balm/conditioner I think.

Cette cire est tout simplement formidable je sens ma barbe plus souple et qui donne du volume rien à dire de négatif, j’ai déjà essayé d’autres marques et bien celle là est ma préféré en plus elle sent bon .
