No it will not harm your child because biotin is a type of vitamin B which helps strengthen hair and nails and also nerve function. Since vitamin B is water Soluable any extra that the body doesn’t use is excreted through the kidneys. The fat soluable vitamins A, D , E, and K are the ones you shouldn’t take more than recommended since your body holds onto them.
