They’re also easy to slide on and off without bending over. The suede straps are held in place with a nice very textured grip like bottom that seals them in securely. I’m a big girl, and they last a long time. I usually wear them until the inside of the soles wear down, or I've accidentally gotten wet one too many times which does degrade the suede straps causing them to stretch out more and perhaps break, its only then I need a new pair. They’re the only flip-flops I’ve worn in the last 10 years or more. Sometimes the black ones are out of stock, so it’s a good idea to buy an extra pair while they’re in stock, or try them in other colors.
