Old SD card reader was packing up - read/write errors and corrupt pictures etcBought this and had no problems since. Plus, you don't need to use an adapter for the micro-SD cards as they have their own dedicated slot.Great build quality and feels very solid.

Really small, runs at a good speed. The only thing that could be an issue is the integral cable, which if it fails means the device will need to be replaced, but at the price it is, I think that is fine. Very good value.

Other SD card readers have proved unreliable. Plus there is a problem that only the card readers can be used because the slots are next to each other and the traditional card readers have shoulders that prevent the mouse being inserted at the same time. With this, it is really quick, reliable and I can still use the mouse. Recommended. Don’t know if it will last but am looking after it carefully and keeping it in its box. Arrived in good time well package, too.

Too many laptops those days don't have built in card readers, so I bought this for my new laptop which doesn't have one built-in.Only used it once so far and it works. Subjectively it seems very fast, so no issues so far.Simple, small and just what I needed.
