Very convenient
Worked very well, I like the fact that you can put your phone in your phone holder and see the real-time data as you drive. Have an older model corded innova but it wouldn’t read what I needed it to on my wife’s Nissan. I went to their website and put in the vehicle I had and it gave me the options for the innova models I could buy to see the data I needed.

Misled by Innova staff, product failure at 90 days. Warranty replacement policy is ridiculous
I was looking for a OBD Bluetooth scanner that was capable of clearing ABS codes on my 2005 Toyota Sequoia. So I sent a message through Amazon to Innova inquiring if this 6000p model would meet my needs. I was told yes. However this model does not clear ABS codes which I was subsequently told when I reached out to their tech-support after receiving the product and not being able to clear my ABS codes. Everyone makes mistakes so I figured I would keep the product anyway because I have several cars and I just bought an additional device that met my needs. Fast-forward 90 days after the purchase and suddenly I am unable to synchronize the device with the app on my phone. After troubleshooting fuses and the OBD port it was clear the dongle had failed. So I get on the phone with tech-support at Innova and run through the entire scenario with the rep who doesn’t seem to understand the fundamentals of automotive Electronics related to his products. Had to painstakingly explain in my new detail how the dongle must be defective since all the fuses are good and the OBD port works just fine with a different Bluetooth OBD tool. Any reasonable company would simply send out a new device with an RMA for the old one. But no. They want me to pack up and send back this dongle for “testing“ and only then would replace it. This type of customer service failure with a device that’s only 90 days old Is just dumb.

Firmware flaw
Purchased this to read codes and data from 2008 Nissan Altima 3.5. The device would successfully connect to the vehicle, and via Bluetooth to Innova’s app on iPhone 12. At first connection, the app prompted to update the device’s firmware, would show status of downloading new firmware, but never made it past 0% installation/update. The company is very helpful. Over the phone, they helped troubleshoot by suggesting to try updating the firmware via the app on other iOS devices (iPhones, iPads) in the household, and, eventually recommended updating firmware on a desktop computer. Unfortunately, my ancient computer does not meet the manufacturer’s minimum computer requirements. The company is great, and offered to send a shipping box in order to return the product, and then they would mail a new one with updated firmware. They could not have been more helpful nor made it an easier customer support process. I would have enjoyed this product if it connected. However, since I couldn’t use the device in a timely way to troubleshoot my primary mode of transportation, I purchased a new vehicle instead. My suggestion to anyone considering this product: if your firmware is out of date and you can’t get the device to update by your own intuition, either by connecting the device to the app or computer, do not hesitate to call the company - they will make it right.2 stars because why should anyone receive a product that is outdated and obsolete the moment it arrives? If I were given the option, I would not order this again; I would order something else. The fact that Amazon allows the return, and I could return it “package-less” at Kohl’s by dropping it off is worth a star. The company’s great customer support is worth a star, too.

It works
I could not believe that some of the things I had to figure out on my own. One, you need to have your Bluetooth devices (meaning tablet or cell phone) on Bluetooth and needing and an internet connection, at the same time for it to work. Then a week later, I found a dongle knock-off in walmart for half the price (with all the same functionality including the operating support system.

Well integrated OBDii solution at a great price.
OBDii tools can be life savers. The trick is getting something that the hardware, software, and reference all work well together. This is that product.Being bluetooth, it means that the app can have access to the Internet for up to date code information. It all works really well.the actual scanner is very compact. that is nice when it is stiking down below the knee bolster - keeping it out of the user's way, and, less likely to get broken,My only suggestion, so far, would to make it a little less likely to get lost. Maybe a tether point. I wrapped some yellow tape - otherwise I'd lose it. All in all, small quibbles.

Easy to use OBDII Code reader with RS2 app
With the plug-in and no wires to the OBDII port I was able to look under the hood and check the RS2 app on my cell phone the see real time data of the engines performance, Saved a lot of time.

Junk
Literally worked twice and had to put in a lot of effort and try a variety of different vehicles to have it work only 2 times. You get what you pay for but should of got a $20 junk scanner instead.

Requires account setup with email and Internet to use
Only one mobile app works with this to scan codes, and it requires an online account setup. If I hadn't used it already to get codes, I'd send it back for this alone, as it's very intrusive. I shouldn't have to agree to policies just to pull trouble codes from my vehicles. The other app that works provides gauges, etc., but no code scanning, and does not appear to require signup. The actual code scan works fine on all the computer modules (ECM/ABS/BCM/EBCM, etc.) that I tried, but really, this should just hook up to the standalone app and provide codes, that is all.
