I’ve been using these wine stoppers for almost a year and they’ve been a simple but super useful addition to my kitchen. The vacuum pump does a great job of removing air from the bottle, and I really like the built-in date tracker so I don’t have to remember when I first opened the wine.They’re compact, sturdy, and easy to use. No extra tools needed. Just pump and store. The only minor downside is that there's no clear signal when all the air is fully removed. You kind of have to guess based on resistance, but it still works well overall.I’d recommend this to anyone who regularly finds themselves with a half bottle of wine at the end of the night. Especially parents of young kids. You’ll appreciate waking up to crying without also having a wine hangover because you had to finish the bottle.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:We have been testing many different wine vacuum bottle stoppers as we have a small family vineyard and tasting room. As for effectiveness, these work just fine. They are not as convenient as the electric powered units, but are very reasonably priced. However, if you are storing your wine in the fridge, the one setback is they add a lot of additional height (more than a bottle plug). So, if your refrigerator doesn’t have appropriate height on shelves, I would move on. Also, if you need to do more than a couple of bottles, you may want to look into the rechargeable varieties. But, a good product, effective, easy (enough for a couple of bottles at a time). Will last a couple of weeks once used. These work very well for non-screw-top wine bottles. I recommend them.

I am familiar with products that you apply suction by using arm's strength but this one sucks the air itself and you let out the already sucked air by pressing. Therefore you cannot control the suction pressure. The button stays pressed when the spring is overwhelmed and that is a low amount of vacuum.
