We love this toaster!
Very nice toaster. Attractive and functions as it should. Even though both levers are pushed at same time, Right side takes a bit longer than left side but not enough to warrant less stars. We keep the setting at 5 for perfect toast. toasts Bagels nicely as well. We have family of 5 so having 4 toast at a time helps a lot! Easy to get smudges or smears on the stainless steel but you spray some olive oil spray on a paper towel then wipe it down and it cleans up perfect. We love this toaster!

Great Toaster!
This toaster works great, I love the simplicity of it and the adjustable dial. It also looks nice on the counter, it's not too bulky like other toasters, it's just the right size!

“Lightweight, High-Quality Toaster With One Minor Drawback
Upon unboxing, I immediately noticed how impressively lightweight this toaster is compared to my previous model. The design feels high-quality, and it produces an even, consistent toast every time. The only drawback is that it doesn’t accommodate wider, store-bought bakery slices, particularly those from the middle of a standard loaf. Despite this limitation, it remains a solid, reliable purchase overall.

Dependable, ice
Very dependable...consistent toasting. We've had it for over 6 months and no problems. Like all toasters we've owned, it tends to toasters one side slightly more than the other, but not a big deal. Pretty happy so far.

Slightly above average toaster.
I chose this item to replace a Walmart brand toaster. Definitely a much better choice. So far I’ve only used it for bread but it seems to toast it well. The crumb tray is not the best however, it has a few issues and the toaster still produces crumbs from inside on my countertop. For what I paid for it I would kinda expected to have a better crumb tray design. So for the price I paid results may vary.

Beautiful toaster with long enough slots and even toasting
This is a great toaster. First, I have to give GE plaudits for doing something audacious - telling us the size of the toaster slots. As we all know, the most important thing about a toaster is its ability to fit standard slices of bread, something which a surprising number of them fail at. And that's probably the reason why every other toaster I looked at kept the slot size shrouded in secrecy. This one advertised it as 5.5" x 1.38", and that's the reason I went with this toaster. I tend to get normal pre-sliced grocery store bread, and it's usually just over 5" at the bottom, so a 5" slot doesn't cut it. 5.5" is perfect as you can see in the pictures. As you can also see, the bread was toasted just about as evenly as I could imagine it being. I did read a couple reviews saying they got uneven toasting. But I also saw reviews like that for every toaster. At some point you have to realize that bread is not a perfectly uniform consistency, and it may not be a problem with the toaster, it's just the nature of bread itself. I think the toaster looks beautiful, and the knobs, lever and buttons all feel nice to use as I would expect at this price point. The removable crumb tray is great. This is definitely a full size toaster, significantly larger and taller than the "compact" one I had before. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase.

Good toast, bagels perfect..
Used daily and initial impression is good. The bagel function excellent - best toasting I have seen in a toaster. Purchased as used, new condition and accurate description. Packaging lousy, since toaster in original box with zero protection and free to bounce and tumble. No instruction sheet is OK, but lazy attitude to not protect the toaster is wrong. If damaged, I would have returned

attractive appearance
some pre-requisites (because of some differences in the way we use ours) - we toast almost solely sour dough bread (already somewhat more difficult to toast) - our breads are nearly always frozen (to prevent them from spoiling prematurely) - we don't thaw the sour dough bread first, it goes directly from the freezer to the toaster - if I make any references to our previous toaster, it was a very reliable, 10 year old, T-Fal brand 2 slice toaster, that was damaged by one of our housekeepers crew members *** Ok, it is a somewhat attractive appliance (as far as toasters go) as I mentioned in the title(Headline) *** It's very lightweight - not a positive or negative necessarily, but the first press of the toaster "start" lever nearly flipped the unit forward - It's easy to overcome, but you do have to get a bit used to "it." *** the unit didn't smoke anywhere near as back as I thought it might during first start and it "burned off" in one cycle *** the unit toasts fairly uniformly in each slot *** the unit toasts decently uniformly between L and R slots although the right side seems ever so slightly lighter so far (not enough to be concerned with - could have been the bread in that slot) *** I was a bit disappointed that the slots weren't any deeper than or previous T-Fal (sour dough slice sizes can get fairly long - we didn't lose anything, but didn't gain either) *** the speed at which this appliance toasts is adequate and might be a bit faster than our previous toaster *** after four tries (again, on frozen, unthawed, sourdough bread) I finally get a decent brown colored finish at one notch down from maximum (no big deal, but much higher setting than the T-Fal) It also "browned" 'more or less, enough,'' at 3/4 power setting *** it definitely operated well (other than the initial tipping forward issue (which, also again, is easy to avoid)) *** Let's see, what else, the cord, I like that they give the user two exits (ways to route the power cord) *** You could see the unit is operating with the handle down, but the "in operation" light is immediately easily recognizable from across the room. *** The unit, also has "FROZEN" and "BAGEL" buttons, neither of which I used or "looked into" That's probably enough review for now. In this price range, it's going to be very hard to get, what only "might be," a better unit. I'm happy with the purchase for now. If I run in to a "deep 2 slot" (not four slot due to the location and lack of space there) I'll replace it later. One more note, we don't use it for bagels, but they (the slots) look wide enough. If anything changes, I'll revise this review, but I don't anticipate anything... It seems fine for us and I'm satisfied with the purchase.
