Quality, Innovation, Grade A Functionality
This Olight model delivers super bright light and reassuringly solid hardware, and does it with style and verve, but the star of the show is undoubtedly the attachment mechanism (aka "mount"). It's a new design (new to me anyway) that allows direct attachment of the light to an Mloc slot (nothing new about that, yeah I know but keep reading), locks up solid as a rock and then, with the mere twist of a knob and push of a button allows the user to effortlessly remove the light for handheld applications. Nothing permanently tethers the light to its mount. Take it off and replace it at will. It works just as well detached as attached. Use it unmounted as long as you like. Keep it off for a month if that's your thing. But then, when you're ready, reattachment couldn't be easier. Slide the light into a slot on the mount, listen for the soft "click," rotate the knob a half turn in the opposite direction, and you're back in business. The light can be charged mounted or dismounted with the provided USB magnetic charging cable. Either way, it's accomplished with the help of a magnetic connection, so no need to remove the battery. No need to touch the battery. No need to even think about the battery. Now that's nifty clean fast and easy. The item is truly feature-rich, with things such as dual light intensities (1250 vs 200 lumens), professional finishes on both the light and mount so that the whole operation looks like a million $$$, black or FDE colors, your choice of direct tail switch activation or use of a remote keypad, and easy (magnetic) conversion from tail switch to remote switch operation and back again. Etc., etc., etc. In summary: Functionality: very high. Value for money: very high. Improvement suggestions: One. Remember the dual light intensities (1250 vs 200 lumens)? Well, that works ONLY with direct tail switch operation. When using the remote keypad, expect to access only the 1250 lumen beam. I highly recommend that both intensities be available in both operational modalities. Access to at least two intensities is always a good thing.

Solid mount, bright light, good switch.
I have several Olight products including multiple weapon lights. I have never had one let me down and I think they are excellent quality for the price. Yes, they are made in China. No, they may not be as respected or cool as top brands. Bottom line for me is they give good clear light every time I push the button. They handle the abuse of daily carry. I have a couple of lights mounted on platforms with well over 2k rounds blowing by the lens and they work as well as they ever did. I expect this will be no different.

Super bright with a solid mounting system
The Olight Odin Mini weapon light is really awesome! Super bright with a solid mounting system. The only downside for me is the color. It’s not desert tan but more of a weird brown shade. The flashlight is lightweight, not overly bulky, works perfectly, and is extremely bright. I do like the light. It is a solid choice although, I’ll be returning it for the black one.

Fantastic weapon light
Very nice quality. Very Impressed. Light weight. Stays in close to the weapon. Adds almost no weight. Comes off easy. Rechargeable. Just very high quality - all the way around from top to bottom. When the light is off the weapon - the little attachment on the rail stays in tight and is not in the way. Even the packaging had a premium feel - like a Sonos speaker or an Apple product. I've already ordered another one. Dang it. So it cost me double - since it's so well made. I will just use the button on the light as I have it close to the forward grip. Works out just fine. They pressure pad is also great but takes up room. There are more expensive lights - but this is as good as anything out there. Also, just fyi, you won't want 10 football fields of light - if you will just be in the house. Even the reflection off the wall is like looking into the disc of the sun. You will blind yourself.

Solid light with unexpected feature
Giving it 4 stars (for now) only because I just received it and haven't fully tested it yet; however, it definitely passes the eyeball test. My first impression is good quality and value for the price. Very solid construction and very bright. I noticed several reviewers mention the packaging, which obviously does NOT reflect the quality of a product by any means, but the packaging was very impressive for a flashlight. One thing that surprised me is the vibrating feature that indicates battery life. I'm not a tactical light expert, so this may be a common feature that's expected on all tactical lights these days. I just didn't know it was a thing and didn't see it listed anywhere in the product description, or mentioned in any of the product reviews. Seems like that would be listed front and center as a major selling point. One negative mentioned by others is the inability to control the brightness levels from the remote pad. Not a deal breaker for me but it would be a nice feature to have. Anyway, I won't be jumping out of helicopters or scuba diving with it, so assuming it doesn't fail after one year, I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

Great buy for your rifle
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great quality, bright, and easy to install — solid after 3 months I’ve had the OLIGHT Odin Mini for about 3 months now and it’s been a great light. Installation was quick and easy, and it feels very solid once mounted. The output is very bright for such a compact light, and overall the build quality is excellent. I also like the rechargeable setup — it’s convenient and keeps things simple compared to constantly swapping batteries. After a few months of use, everything is still working exactly as it should. Pros: Very bright for its size Easy to install and mounts securely Great build quality and feels durable Rechargeable is convenient Has held up well over time

Faulty Magnetic Charging Cable ...but they made it right!
First the good: + Price. Hard to beat under $100 for a complete AR-15 lighting system; however, more on this in a moment + Mounting system. Love the quick detach system and the MLOK off-set light bracket was easy to install and. Nice that the screws came with blue lock tight and the pressure pad fits nicely as well. + Rechargeable. May not be tactically sound but for a range gun, a rechargeable light was exactly what I was looking for; again, unfortunately, more on this one too... ...and now the bad: - The proprietary magnetic charging cable had some sort of short in it. It would only charge, indicated by small green/red LED lighting on the magnetic connector, when the USB was pressed tightly down onto a port. Since it's a proprietary recharged system, I couldn't use it at all. This faulty magnetic charging cable was a show-stopper. [see updates below] - So the value factor was quickly overcome by the poor quality control on the charging cable... it would have been overpriced at $1 if it didn't work... too bad too. [see updates below] I reached out to their customer support and will update the review if/and when the issue is resolved. Until then, I CAN NOT recommend this light to anyone for any purpose! Keep looking... [see updates below] Update: I must admit, I'm pretty impressed. Within 5 minutes of sending my email about the issue, an Olight representative reached out and said a replacement was in the mail. I bumped up my rating to 2 stars and will continue to update/adjust as necessary! Update #2: Within 72 hours, I had a new and operational charging cable in my mailbox. I hope the product tuns out to be as good as their customer service. To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised. I assumed a budget-friendly company might skimp on customer service but I can say that was definitely not the case. Well done Olight!
