Keter Hudson 60 Gallon Capacity Plastic Resin Weather Resistant Outdoor Home Backyard Storage Bench/Deck Box Chest Patio Furniture, Gray

Quite easy to put together on my own, but took a while. I’ve had it for about seven months and have stored cushions inside throughout the summer. No rain has got inside yet. Seems quite sturdy. Looks good.

Like many plastic products, some distortion in the panels made construction a little tricky but didn't cause too many delays. Looks good and nice to sit on. A little water gets into my underseat box in very heavy rain conditions, so be careful what items you plan to store. Apart from that concern, I am very happy with the product.

When it rains the water stays in the groves on the seat .

Product arrived faster than expected. I bought it as a present for my mother at Christmas and have only just got round to assembling it. There was a panel with a broken fixing so I contacted the seller who immediately mailed a replacement panel to me, no questions asked! Absolutely fantastic service. I have now assembled the bench and delivered it to mum who absolutely loves it. Extra storage outside, it's quite comfortable to sit on, won't need painting and is very sturdy. Thinking of buying one for myself! This was at least £30 cheaper than my local garden centre.10 out of 10 for the seller and the product!

Great bench if you just want to sit on it but not suitable for dry storage (of patio furniture cushions). Bought this to replace a 7 year old Keter Eden bench which had performed well but was looking a bit tired. However the new Hudson bench allows water to seep into the storage area every time it rains making it unsuitable for dry storage. Neither the supplier or Keter Customer service have offered any help or suggestions to resolve the issue. Be warned, if you want dry storage look elsewhere.

Very easy to assemble and sturdy with good storage space. Only downside was I ordered it in Grey to match other garden furniture and received it in Brown. Unfortunately I couldn’t return it because my husband went ahead and assembled when I was out.

happy

This is the second bench we have bought. The quality is excellent and will keep anything inside dry.Sturdy and looks good.

I bought one of these for the style and solid looking construction. Then I bought a second one. Then I bought two more.Assembly is easy enough. A little water does get in. I may have to drill drain holes in the recesses of the storage area. As solid as it looks and pretty comfortable for a bench. Lots of storage space(Amazon pkgs). Using mine for entryway, pool deck, back patio. I was few screws short(cue the jokes) on the first two shipments. There were two extra screws in the next two shipments. Otherwise the packing was great. If you like the color/style, buy it.

It was a bit tricky to put together, but not impossible. I needed something sturdy because we are big people and want to sit together out on the deck. It works great for our needs. And the storage is handy too :) Its not a cute little bench but it is comfortable and nice looking. It will not rust (metal) or get termites (wood).

Wanted an outside storage bench this size. The Rubbermaid alternative was too small. Read the reviews and decided to take a chance. The item received was as described (gray) and shipping was faster than expected via FedEx. Kudos to the seller. Assembly for me(72 yr old female) took about an hour following the enclosed paper instructions (pics only, but each piece stamped to match the parts sheet). Rubber mallet and ratchet screwdriver were needed tools for me. Finished product not as solid as metal since made of plastic, but still fairly sturdy considering.

I had high expectations for this, considering the price point of over $200, and it looked nice from the photos. However it arrived anything but. The major load-bearing parts were fractured, cracked, or had large chunks broken off. The box arrived in decent shape so I doubt it was horribly mishandled during shipping, but inside the pieces weren't padded or protected, just stacked against each other as if someone just threw them into a big pile. I obviously couldn't put the bench together but overall quality is terrible. The plastic is hard and brittle, like an old car dashboard that was sitting in the sun for 30 years, and I doubt it would hold up to the use it is designed for. I have a deck storage box from a different manufacturer and the difference in quality is night and day. I certainly wouldn't sit on this bench. There didn't appear to be any waterproofing or even design elements that would serve to prevent water leaks. Your mileage may vary but in the end, the photos speak for themselves. And the worst part is that you have to drop this off at a UPS location yourself. I have no problem carrying this large, heavy box, but not everyone else can. In the end, avoid this product.

The directions were easy to follow and snapped together with a strong snap. I did have a problem with the steel bar not lining up quite right the first time, but was able to correct it for the final assembly.
