Is the wire transparent or silver? Is it quite noticeable?

The lights I have used are silvery coloured and noticeable in a good way once turned on. They are part of the pattern produced and give a nice effect.

Hi does the rainbow ones change colours? If so, how fast would you say they change? Do the lights flash or stay on?

I've got clear lights, you can change to settings to fast and slow speed and you dim the lights. I don't know how speed it goes, with mine does go pretty fast and very eye catching.

Am I able to trim back the length on these?

Trimming the lights is something I've not tried but by the looks of the led lights I think this is possible. It Wouldn't hurt trying though.
