Zoie + ChloeStainless Steel Espresso Coffee Tamper - 49mm Flat Base

I ordered red, but received a pinkish color. I like the heft and shape. Works well for tamping and was very reasonably priced.

This is a high-quality tamper. As near as I can tell it measures exactly 49mm on my dial caliper. Very nicely machined, comfortable in the hand. This proves to me that a good tamper needn't cost half a fortune. I wish it came in something other than hot pink and baby blue (candy apple red or midnight blue would be nice), but eh; nothing to ding it for, especially at this price.Now it'd be nice if the filter basket on the Rok I bought along with this tamper also measured 49mm like it says in its description. Alas, it's ~50.1mm.Anyway, that's beside the point - EXCELLENT JOB ON THIS TAMPER.

I had to return this because I bought the wrong size, but it's very beautiful and well balanced.

So far so good. The bottom of the tamper tends to loosen from the handle so I have to make sure it is tightened before I use it. I twist the tamper when using and I'm sure that is why but when it is tightened, it should stay that way. I love the color because it matches the front of my espresso maker.

This is a high quality tamper that has some heft and feels great in the hand. The color is beautiful and it's easy to clean. I have the red. I use it with my Krups XP-1000 espresso machine and the 49mm size fits well. Because it's not flimsy or plastic you need almost no pressure to tamp the coffee. It cleans with a simple brushing of any coffee that's on it but it's safe to wash. I leave it on my counter, not so much for the ease of use, but because I like the way it looks.

The best 49mm espresso I've used to date. Very solid construction, a nice weight and fits naturally in your hand. I use this tamper with the La Pavoni Pre-Millennium 49mm Double Portafilter Basket, and it works perfectly. This tamper creates a very even espresso surface that has drastically improved the consistency of my shots. If you're looking for a 49mm espresso tamper, this is the one for you!

I love the Zoei. After evaluating other tamper, I decided on the Zoei because of its weight and its beautiful red color. I bought it initially for my Rok Presso, but I have used it with Capresso and it works very well, casually it's 49mm both. Very happy with my new play of my passion, the coffee

I have a Bialetti stove top espresso make and the coffee was pretty good. Now the coffee tastes like espresso because when u you compress the coffee grinds it helps to build up pressure and produce espresso. Plus the unit is heavy and well built.
