This thing doesn’t worth its weight.. I tried different drivers, different ports, USB2, USB3.. it just does the same fail! It keeps disconnecting every few minutes.. while it is momentarily you might not notice it if you are just browsing internet or using YouTube.. But in conference calls and online gaming you are dropped out of the game or call.. I have a laptop that is setting next to the desktop and its built-in WiFi works perfectly.. It leads me to believe that it is this WIFI USB dongle is the thing that is not stable..

Easy to install and get running I was on wireless within10 mins of unboxing! Range seems OK. Router is in kitchen on ground and I am on 3rd floor. Line test shows upload speed at 7.99mbps and download speed at 32.14mbps. Good value for the price.

Ich habe den Adapter für den Rechner meiner Tochter eingesetzt (der aus elterlicher Paranoia nicht mit Windows, sondern mit Linux eingerichtet ist). Dort ist es ja nicht so einfach, zuverlässige AC-Dongles zu finden, aber der Linksys ging recht problemlos im System zu aktivieren (ja, der eine oder andere Googlehupf war notwendig). Er tut seitdem klaglos seinen Dienst und im Falle einer Disziplinarmaßnahme muss man nur das Gerät abziehen, schon ist das Töchterchen wieder lammfromm, um ins Internet zu kommen ;-)

der stick ist absolut super. installations cd rein und stick installieren, nach max 2 min ist alles ereldigt,der stick findet den router sofort und verbindet nach passworteingabe das note-oder netbook sofort mit dem inetz. deutliche geschwindigkeitssteigerung inclusiv. bordeigenes wlan 10.000 mit stick 30.000--kabel d-- die anschaffung lohnt sich,werde auch die weiteren notebooks mit dem stick ausstatten, läuft problemlos unter windows 8...die schlanke flunder hat mehr als nur 5 sterne verdient.
