All of this makes Bigz Dies perfect for every die cutting project, from embellished cards to stunning appliqué cushions. Compatible with a wide range of Sizzix die cutting machines such as the Sizzix Big Shot, Sizzix Big Shot Plus, Sizzix Big Shot Foldaway, Sizzix Big Shot Pro and Sizzix Big Shot Express. All of these perfect die cutting machines and great for card making and much more, so you won’t be short on projects you can utilise this die for. What is die cutting? Die cutting is a quick and easy way of producing individual, or mass shapes from paper, foil, cardstock or even chipboard using a machine and die, instead of cutting by hand. What cuts my material? A die cutting machine will always be necessary in order to die cut, though it's not the machine itself that physically cuts your material. Your chosen die (for example a Sizzix Bigz, Thinlits or Framelits die), is responsible for cutting the design. the machine just applies the pressure. So if you're ever unsure if you can die cut a certain material, check the compatibility of your die rather than your machine. How do I use a Bigz die? It’s easy. Grab your Big Shot Machine (660200) and Standard Cutting Pads (655093) to get started. Firstly, take one cutting pad and place your Bigz die on top. Then, place your chosen material on top of the die. Complete your sandwich with your second cutting pad placed on the top of the Bigz die and chosen material, then it’s ready to go. With one roll through your die cutting machine, your design will be revealed. Review: Nice if the price is right. - This is a large sized snowflake - will fill the front of a quarter fold card. It would also work great for making your own ornaments from cardstock. That’s what I’m planning to do. I love these dies by Beth Reames. They are some of my favorites. The corners are not sized exactly the same, so after cutting, you will need to ensure that your die cut is rotated /flipped correctly in the embossing folder to get it to line up well. I had somehow expected that this die would include a little one to make the white center that is shown in the photo, but it does not. I guess that’s a button glued on there. I was a bit disappointed by that, so I am glad that I waited for the price to drop down under $10 before I bought it.

This is a large sized snowflake - will fill the front of a quarter fold card. It would also work great for making your own ornaments from cardstock. That’s what I’m planning to do. I love these dies by Beth Reames. They are some of my favorites. The corners are not sized exactly the same, so after cutting, you will need to ensure that your die cut is rotated /flipped correctly in the embossing folder to get it to line up well.
