Absolutely replicated the Poffertjes I had in Amsterdam. The pan says only gas stove, didn't see this on purchase, and I have conduction heat - but worked like a charm. Had to practice a bit - but we had a lovely breakfast with strawberries, fresh cream and syrup. What a nice value and surprise at how easy! oh one last thing - get the mix they recommend imported from Holland and definitely get a squirt bottle to portion on the pan - quick and no mess! You'll have a ton of these so plan to cook them all and freeze if you don't eat all in one sitting. Cheers!

We lived in northwest Germany, near the Dutch border, for three years. My children had a lot of Dutch friends and were quickly introduced to Poffertjes. They became a favorite! My boys often asked for these treats for special occasion breakfasts, and I could purchase pretty yummy pre-made ones from the grocery store. We moved back to the US a year and a half ago, and our lives have been devoid of Poffertjes . . . until today! I surprised my 11-yr-old with a birthday breakfast of beautiful and delicious Poffertjes, thanks to this pan! This pan made the perfect size Poffertjes, fit perfectly over my gas burner, and gave my little Dutch pancakes beautiful color! If you want to make Poffertjes at home, this pan is the way to go! It makes 19 pancakes at a time, which is about one serving for my hungry kids, but they cook up fast!

"high grade aluminum• Heavy duty pan is made of durable aluminum material and has a strong handle". I beg to differ. The box weighed as much if not more than the pan did. The description is BS. I hope the pan works well. Why didn't they include a recipe? Maybe more later.

This was a good buy. We’re all gonna get fat.

Having Dutch heritage I wanted one of these pans...... However can't use it because it doesn't balance on my gas rings - I hope the photo (especially the 2nd one) shows that the diameter of the pan is bigger than the supports I have on my gas hob - result is that the pan, or some of it sits right on top of the gas... = uneven cooking . Having to hold the pan whilst cooking is impossible or at least very difficult. The diameter of the pan was on the description so I have only myself to blame but I didn't think to check it.......... My Poffertjes will have to wait.

A bit big for our normal sized gas hobs. Have to hold it as it would tip. Not made from the most robust of materials. Having said all that, it does the job.

Bought this for my sister's cafe. She absolutely loves using this pan to make pancakes for her customers.

This clearly stated it was for gas and electric, but when it arrived, the packaging says gas only so I was unable to to use it.
