Durable even with 2 dogs, 2 kids and 2 adults - this easily fit our modern futon. It has stopped urine, coffee, water, food spills etc. from ruining our futon.

This sturdy waterproof cover is only for a thin (2" thick) FULL-SIZED futon, or SMALLER! The green-ish color was a pleasing, not too dull or too bright. The stretch was good if you have the right-sized futon. Ours was a queen size - the futon cover did not fit. (PS: Full-size is the same as a double size. ) The cover washed well on warm, although holds a lot of water, it being waterproof. It still dried well in the dryer on low, just took extra time to dry out all the held water. Hanging on a cloths-line maybe a better alternative to the dryer, if time or rainy weather isn't an issue. A good value if you have full-sized futon on th thinner side.

Fits tight, which makes it hard to put on but then it looks like it's upholstered.

UPDATE: love this cover! So glad that I found it and made the buy. It worked well with the wear and tear of our pups when camping. It had enough slack so that when you extend the sofa it fully covers and isn’t tight. Easy to clean & does the job! ——- Purchase this for the jackknife/futon sofa in our gray wolf travel trailer. We have two dogs and have used a basic slip cover purchased from Wally- however the problem is that one will continually slide around a bunch up. The benefits of this one is that it stays put, and is waterproof! Provides enough fabric to be expanded when open flat, and stays in place when folded for the seated position. I have already passed along the details of this product to our other family members with dogs-who want to protect their sofas as well.

Excellent value and greatly improved the look of my aging click clack futon. Washable and just what I needed! My futon is on the smaller side so I just tuck more into the crease where it folds. It would fit a larger one also. Has some kind of rubbery material on the inside edges so it doesn't slip. Ribbed texture makes it look great. Easy to put on! No weird smell whatsoever. Highly recommend.

NOT waterproof. I bought this to protect a futon in a short term rental when we had to move short notice for work. Our geriatric cat has urinary incontinence from urinary issues that resulted in surgery when he was younger. The very first time he peed on it, it only sat for at most 15 minutes from the time I had gotten off the couch and stepped outside, to coming back in and finding it. The pee had soaked through enough to go through both the decorative cover below AND the zippered futon case. Very unsatisfied with this waste of money. I ended up just buying a thick, heavy duty plastic cover that’s usually meant for storage protection, to put underneath a different cover.

The product is very well-made and fit over my extra large futon. It’s very waterproof and doesn’t dry easily in the dryer, I found that hanging it to dry it better but it took two days to completely dry.
