What I paid for vs. what i gotThis item is a complete rip off, I paid extra because the picture showed it with the Honda insignia but it’s blank. I could’ve bought a cheaper plain one like the one the company actually sent me But I paid more specifically for the Honda insignia

Does not fit my key for a Honda CR-V 2005 ... the picture is what I thought I was getting & it came blank with no Honda logo . Don’t recommend

Does not fit Honda Ridgeline as advertised. Ridgeline has a chip in the key fob.Did fit my 2011 CRV.

Docking 1 star for the advertised logo, it's misleading. However, the slot for the logo is the perfect size for a Honda key logo. With a heat gun, you can remove a logo from a previous key and place it on--it fits nicely. Used with 2010 Crosstour and 2006 Accord. Overall key installation is a bit counterintuitive, but as long as you're gentle everything fits and clicks perfectly. Tips: don't over screw the screw and slide in the key with the plastic holder first.

This is a good replacement for the original key fob. There is a plastic collar to hold your existing key snugly in place. You have to remember to remove the little magnetic chip from your old fob or your new key will not work. There are useful videos on YouTube that are helpful. I used a piece of double-sided tape to keep the chip in place. It was a little tricky to line up everything and snap together, but you will be happy with the results if you are careful and take your time when you reassemble the key.

Broke in 3 days. I bought this bc my key was looking a bit worn and just wanted to refresh its looks. You HAVE to break the metal key shaft part off of the original…. So if your original isn’t broken, then I highly recommend not buying this. Buy a silicone Cover for your original instead. I’m just glad I have another spare original… You’re welcome for the headache I just saved you🤙🏽

I am a crazy busy active human and drop my keys all too often. This last time I opened my hatch , put my keys down and closed the hatch on the fob. Life! It was so easy to transfer the blade and mechanism and not have to go cut a new blade. Super time and money saver! It has a good tight fit so I shouldn't need to replace it too soon but one never knows! If I do I'll be back for more.

I like the product , price not bad . The only issue i have is that the screw for the covers are too long. You have to drill thru the key hole in order to install it , and secure both covers. Where as the original are smaller and stop at the key itself .. now i need to purchase a small drill bit to drill thru the key hole..still like the item..
