I've used this product on my face every night for about 20 years. About 20 years ago, I had a jaw surgery with some small scars near my jawline. The maxillofacial surgeon told me to apply A&D ointment every day to the suture lines until it was all healed. I decided to just keep using A&D ointment as a routine. My mother used vaseline on her face every night and she had very few wrinkles even at 90 years old. I have very few wrinkles for my age too. Maybe it's because I have naturally oily skin. A&D ointment is basically vaseline with lanolin and cod liver oil (vitamin A and D) added. For me, it's definitely not comedogenic (does not cause pimples or blackheads). It's my go-to, last thing on my face at night.

Best diaper rash cream ever! We started using this ointment right off the bat when my daughter was born. When she got a little older, probably about 8-10 weeks, she started sleeping a little longer and going longer between diaper changes so she started developing a rash. I switched over to the zinc oxide paste at that time because it’s supposed to be the best (right?) except it made the situation worse, so I switched back to A&D and within two days it cleared right up! We haven’t had a single rash since then and she’s four months now! This is an essential that I keep backups for my backups and I even have the smaller tube in the diaper bag!My ONLY gripe about this product is the fragrance, it is quite strong and noticeable but it isn’t a terrible smell just a little medicinal.

This was recommended by my pediatrician for one of my children who is extremely prone to diaper rash for some reason. We have ordered this a couple times and it always works well and quickly to soothe her skin! It’s not cheap but you get such a large amount that it’s definitely worth it. It’s our “go to” for daily applications to help avoid a rash. Tip- if your child has a bad diaper rash, first put a layer of this to help soothe and then a layer of Desitin to create an even thicker barrier- works like a charm!

We had been using desitin on our newborn since birth but she still developed a nasty diaper rash with open sores. Switched to this after googling best product for diaper rash. Immediately noticed it creates a better barrier between skin and diaper and now her sores are nearly healed. We even put some behind her ears where they were crusting and it was better within one day. Yes, it has a unique smell, but it works so well you get over it.

This product is so good all you need to do it follow the instructions on the product and you will see results you all need to use this in the morning and in the nights when you are going to bed it you have bad skin it will help bring back you skin types

A&D Ointment is a must-have! It protects my baby’s skin and prevents diaper rash really well. I also use it for minor cuts, dry skin, and chafing. It’s gentle, effective, and has a light, clean scent. Highly recommended for babies and adults alike!
