However, I can tell you what I (and a lot of other gardeners) use them for.When they arrive I sit and cut each pair into 4 long strips, which because they are double turns into 8 strips per hose. Then I cut all those in half, making 16..Now, I have created the most versatile garden tie imaginable. They stretch with the plants (tomato, peppers) as they grow. They dry quick after rain or watering and blend in with the plant for looks.
