Works great ! So happy To have found This product it works as should for a fraction of the price as name brand remote start for shop vacuums. Did have to replace the battery on one remote but not too big of a deal to deal with

I was a little hesitant after reading some of the other reviews, as it is generally designed for a 120vac. circuit and I have it set up for my Grizzly dust collector. However, just follow the directions for 240vac. and it really works great. I can't tell how long it will last (have only used it for about a month) but it is built well and there are no moving parts so it should last a long time.

Works great. I had to build a way to incorporate this into my shops dust collecting system, but it works perfectly. I used it on a 220v dust collecting vacuum system.

1. You really can't wire this unit to code into a romex wiring system. It really needs to be put into a code-rated wiring box. This is easy, as it has a remote antenna wire that can be hung out of a metal box if needed.A plastic enclosure shouldn't affect it much, if any.2. Distance for remote seems to be fine, I think I used it out at about 100' LOS. Works fine all around my house where the distance is never more that 50'.I am using it with my miller hot air heater, and it takes the motor load just fine. Now, my unit doesn't start with the fan running, internal timer starts fan after unit is energized, so the switch is not taking a motor start load.All in al, it works great, and was easy to use, just make sure you read the hot leg and neutral screws correctly.m bouchard

Purchased way ahead of time. When installed it functioned properly. Within a week "remote operation" FAILED. Attempted to reprogram remotes. Unit will not go into program mode but otherwise functions correctly. Remote batteries test fine.Suppliers only suggestion was to replace batteries.Abandoned unit and replaced it with a different manufacture. A $10 unit that works.

It was super easy to install. But the wiring had to change on my contactor that was a little challenging but with a little help from a friend it’s working and awesome

I took a heavy duty extension cord and cut it in half and wired the two halves to the switch box. I then just plugged my dust collector into one side and the other to the wall outlet. Works like a dream. The remote is small enough that I can keep it in my pocket.
