My aquarium is lit
Replaced an old bulb that was making a lot of noise. This fit perfectly and is quiet. My fish are much happier and I am much happier. We will probably be able to tell soon if the plants are happier.

Great tank bulb
Great light for over our fish tank for daylight. We can't find this bulb in stores so we're glad Amazon has it.

Didn't work two times
I've bought two of these. The first one lasted about a week and then started flickering the last thing you want. This was from a different company. Then I bought it through Amazon and the first night I put it in it stopped working. I have finally bought another brand which cost three times the amount and so far it's working but it's only been 3 days. My last Light lasted 6 years. But they did handle the refund very well and easily yeah. I just wouldn't recommend this brand at all which is frustrating because it was much less expensive

Brilliant colors
Not sure why there are so many questionable reviews. This is my second purchase (first lamp lasted 5+ years) but I really like the colors that are brought out with this light. Truth be told, itโs not quite as bright as Iโd like, but Itโs not a deal breaker. Iโve gotten used to it and the fish look 100% better with this light.

Not what I expected
I thought this was a blue light, but I guess itโs a plant light? Itโs not what I expected.

Loved it for years, until I got this bad one recently
Over the decades I have bought a few of these, each working well, lasted more than 5 years and have always been a happy repeat customer. It accentuated the aquarium colors better than advertised. Plus I preferred that this wasn't as bright as daylight or white bulb options, which I've always found blinding for my purposely dimly lit room. BUT, this most recent purchase didn't last more than 7 months. The fixture's ballast is relatively new. Was this bad tube light a rare one-off? I've read about some others having this very problem, now its happened to me. I have to decide . . . Do I keep trying and possibly get suckered again? Could these all be just as bad from now on? Or do I spend more money to make the hardware switch from my tried and true (but aging) T8 to modern LED fixture? What an annoying position to be in.

Interesting colors
The light bulb arrived broken, with one of the metal end cap having fallen off. Rather than go through the return process, I tried putting the cap back on and installing it in my aquarium light. It worked and I have been using it for about a month. I like the colors and appearance, and the plants and fish seem to be OK. I'm not sure of the quality, though, so I have a backup ready.
