Great addition to our grill. We’re going to make smash burgers in the future. Now they won’t fall through the grates.

I just made grill cheese on my new griddle. I have an electric glass top stove so I sat it over one of the large burners. It heated up evenly and my sandwiches were a perfect golden brown. I made sure I seasoned it as directed with a small amount of olive oil, Then after use I washed and dried it and re-seasoned it for storage. Its made of a very heavy cast iron with a non stick type coating. That is my only complaint so far is that it's so heavy.. But I knew that since it's cast iron. Big enough for 2 sandwiches , but possibly could have made 4 and squeezed them together if needed.

The first one I received was not cast correctly and was very rough on about half of the surface. I requested an exchange and they sent another one before I returned the bad one. This is very good customer service. The second one was very good. I wanted a smooth surface so eggs wouldn't stick so I used a sander to smooth the surface. I then seasoned the cooking surface. I have used it about a dozen times. Eggs do not stick when I put a little butter on the smooth surface. I used the other side for sausages and they turned out great. I use an infra-red sensor to make sure I am at the correct temperature for what I am cooking. I also have the Lodge version. The Lodge may be better but this one fits in my camping box and cooks the same.

I purchased this cast iron skillet/griddle to use when camping and you just can't beat the functionality, weight and value for the money. The size fits my single burner stover perfectly.

While using this product it cracked in half after only a couple minutes of use. There were no visible cracks prior to use and I always do a slow, even heat up because I am used to the care required with stone cookware. When it split in half the front half fell to the floor. Luckily it missed my feet and my cat who was walking underneath otherwise we would have a much different situation on our hands than a negative review. Clearly this is an issue with this brand as there has been an increase in the reviews of these breaks. This is a very dangerous product from this brand and if I could give negative stars I would.

I just bought a Cuisinart CGG-306 gas grill and wanted griddle surface. My round cast iron pans take up too much space. This isn't small but leaves enough open over one burner while covering the second for the cooking for 1 or 2 that I do. I performed additional seasoning to the griddle as I really don't like to scrub. I recently learned proper stick-free methods (wait til it's HOT) and am once again in love with cast iron cooking.P.S. I'm also loving the lack of charcoal mess.

I've had this for several years now. The first time I used it, the "seasoning" seemed to come off in spots, and I've never been able to get it to even out like with the rest of my pans.

Preheat the cast Iron for 10 minutes before placing the meat or veggies on this grill works great for me.Easy clean up, use a nylon brush, after the grid cools down , with water, perfect in my Emirl grill, fits in perfectly for size on the rack
